Got my climber in an area right next to doe bedding. Jumped a doe on the way in and had a half rack come scent check the bedding area looking for does. Grass is tall, my visibility is low and this area is not how I remember it when I scouted earlier this year. I found one tree to get into and I'm like 9 ft off the ground. My chances aren't looking good my friends but I will keep u updated.

4 bucks and a doe this morning. Was at full draw on a wide 6 but couldn’t capitalize. Got it on video, though.

Uneventful morning. Saw chipmunks and crows. Ugh.

Back out. Wind is picking up. But, warm front with tons of storms will be pushing through late, so we will see

I am to the point that I just want you to get something! I feel that you have hit a streak of bad luck and harvesting a deer would turn it around for you.

Hunted this am till about 1:45. Saw one way out there, nothing else moving. Very few scrapes and 0 doe...my season will be in trouble if some doe do not show up.

Not a single deer this evening. Then it occurred to me that with the time change I won't make it out until Saturday. Last day of our regular season. It's been an awful year. I had one good sit with close encounters and that's about it.

I went this morning and saw 4 does and spike within range. Saw a nice 10 about 140 yards off down by the creek but he never came up my way. Could have taken him with a gun but I'm not there yet this season. It was almost 75 when I got out of the tree, is this really November 4th? Might try a sit tomorrow. Good luck kids if you get out.

Passed the biggest buck I have ever passed tonight. Had I not shot one already he would be dead but hopefully he makes it. Thinking big 3 year old.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Hope I’m not crazy lol

That would have been harder than a 15 year old boy at a Selena Gomez lap dance party to pass up. Great self control sir. And just to let you know... you are like Brittany Spears shaving her head crazy( sorry for the teeny bopper references but I have daughters) lol

I can understand passing the deer since you already killed one but I don't think that's a 3 yr old. His body lines have him deeper in the chest than a 3 yr old should be and his face is very wedge shaped. Looks 4 to me. I assume you are aware of a better deer. Kudos for being able to do what most people couldn't/wouldn't.

IMG_7817.PNG Here's a deer I think is 3.5 that we will be protecting at all costs. If he is 3.5 then the buck you passed sure looks 4.5 to me. Who knows though. Hopefully that buck you passed will make it and you will get to reap the benefits of your decision next year.

He may be 4.5 I have bounced back and forth and I’m no expert lol but I wasn’t ready to be done on him so that’s all that matters. Wouldn’t surprise me if he is shot. If he gives me another chance I might shoot him too who knows.

Yup. Complete definition of crazy. Kidding it's all relative to what your looking for.

I was going to sit all day but somehow I forgot my facemask and once my face and ears got cold so did the rest of me, wind shifted from west to east anyway so wasn’t great for my location. Warming up in the building now then sneak back out with my facemask to a different spot. Sorry about your miss, hope you get another chance
