IMG_7479.JPG IMG_7722.PNG My brother got a nice wide 8 this morning. He didn't take much time to get a great picture. Also attached trail cam pic of the deer. Gotta be my turn at some point here maybe.

Helped my buddy drag an 8 out today also we had been hunting. Will post a pic when he sends it to me. Saw some small bucks and a nice 10 at about 100 yards but nothing in range I wanted to draw on.

I went out Saturday and seen 15 deer total. Only thing in range were doe - in the morning I drew on one and they all scattered. Then they started grazing again. I drew when the mature one got behind a tree and wouldn't you know it - she turned the opposite direction to where I had no shot. Had a group come out in the evening. Perfectly broadside in my window just munching in the field - I couldn't see my pins comfortably enough to feel confident to shoot. So things are looking up on my end.

Wont hit this stand again until Friday evening. Too far out with work.

Been a good year for head gear had the what should be the new ND Typical archery record (2” bigger before drying period) shot about 4 miles from my farm, my good friend got that one I showed earlier. The bad a guy from the air base gut shot a mid 170’s 6x6 right next to me and never found it and one of my up and coming 2.5 year olds got shot by the neighbor. More up set by the 2.5 year old as I had named him Lil freak out as you can see from the pics.

You'd think with that many does around it's just a matter of time before some bone walks by.

IMG_7591.JPG Team - Hunted most of Saturday. AM = 0. PM = One buck seen...one doe almost shot! Buck busted me and froze the doe that I was waiting for. Was some great excitement!

Here is one I would love to get a shot at this year.

Got a six point bedded 20 yards from me. He came in before I even hooked my harness to the tree

I'm in a tree kids. Let's see what happens. It's nice and cool here, there was nothing here this morning so I'm gonna take that as a good sign. Good luck for any out.

Got a 3.5 day weekend coming up. I'm going to hunt as hard as my wife will let me. Looking forward to some hours in a tree.
