I shoot a 2013 diamond core by bowtech. I’m pleased with it and it gets the job done. It was kind of a middle of the road bow, not too hard on the wallet but still has pretty good specs. My sight is a HHA tetra LT. and my arrow rest is a good ole whisker Biscuit. I shoot rage Trypans, never have had any issues out of them. I’ve used raged for about 6-7 years now. I’m trying out the no collar ones this year so we’ll see how that goes.

I’m still rockin the Elite e32. I wish I could find 70# limbs for it. I have 60’s on there. It’s a smooth shooter and weaned me off my crossbow that I shot for 3 years due to a severely broken shoulder. I shot a few of the new bows this year and loved the VXR. I’ve never shot a Prime and always wanted to. I really like the obsession too.

Im a basic *****. Hoyt Carbon Element murdered out and Rage broadheads. She’s 4-5 years old but I’m not into archery enough to upgrade every year, this bow does just fine.

This guys been in a bean field all summer long about 1/2 mile from my farm. He’s finally hard horned. He’s not on the top of my radar but I like this style of rack a lot so I don’t know if I could pass him. We’ll see if he shows up in a killable location.

I’ll post a few trail cam pics of bucks I have gotten the past few years since I don’t have any new.

This is the biggest buck (out of 2) that I have shot with my bow. I got him back in 2017

Here’s a couple trail cam pics. I believe one is a big 6. That was a couple of years ago but would be cool if he’s still alive and an even bigger 6.

I’m honestly a trail camera junkie but this year has been tough. Not worried though, farm is setup for fall and not summer.

A632BB4A-CE80-4341-9B5F-0E60E66D9435.jpeg Not deer related but I’m a waterfowler by heart. Teal season opened today we got 10. Should’ve limited out but like every year my barrel is a little bent around the beginning of every season.

I grew up waterfowl hunting with my dad and have passed it down to my kids. Didn’t start seriously deer hunting until about 2007. Always make sure we go out at least a couple of times a year. Although we go to a managed hunting area where there is a lottery drawing for blinds. The goose numbers have been declining for years so you don’t get too many shot opportunities. Need to start asking permission to hunt some fields around my house.

Fertilized our brassica plots and screening yesterday. Rain coming in right now. Our summer weather for food plots here in Ohio was trash but the fall weather has been perfect. Some 80 degree sunny days coming after this rain. Everything should be looking prime for the first week of the season.

I’ve been wishing for rain for two weeks, hopefully today I get it. Yesterday’s huge green blob was heading right towards Martinsville and then it just fizzled out about 5 miles away.

Plots look good guys. I have a few clover plots that I need to check on by the house. I don’t know if I’ll get them in at the farm down south. Not looking good at this point
