Im here. Im taking my newly aquired girl out bowhunting this year so hopefully she doesnt smoke one of my big deer and leaves them for me. I have some serious potential though.
Hey BR! I sent pm's to the others. I'm glad you have some good potential for a big boy. I'll be hunting in E.TX and W.TX (Rocksprings) this year. My Rocksprings lease is about 7 1/2 hours from my house so I can't visit nearly as often as I'd like. I'll be heading out there in 2 or 3 weeks. In E.TX i'm hunting national forest. Both areas have some nice deer, I just hope I can connect this year.

Checking in, I should be able to put some points on the board with at least a doe, a buck this year may be a bit iffy, not for lack of deer, but I do have some specific goals, and I am not sure if there is a buck of that caliber around this year........let em go and let em grow type of thinking (and I am still trying to scrape together last years taxi bill from my allowance.....ya almost 40 and wife has me on an allowance......)

Yep, been hanging stands this past week... two more to put up. Opener is Sept 1 for whitetail archery here, but I don't usually get serious until October. I'll be chasing moose from Sept 19th until the first week of October. As far as team name... how about "Rack Addicts" I like "Bone Heads" too. Regards, Chris
