Just dropping in to say happy thanksgiving to everyone. Enjoy time with loved ones then get back in the stand and lay down some big ones.

Hope to get back out soon. I have 50 hours of Vacation to burn so I will definitely get out some but it might be a couple weeks. Got some day care conflicts this week but will start working some days in. Got a few small land plots that have had hardly any pressure so we'll see what happens. Good luck if you get out this week.

ok so with the end of the year upon us I had to schedule the remaining vacation days. I am going for a hunt in the AM then taking off all next week. The following week I am working 3-11. Lets get out there and make our push boys. Time to put some deer on the ground.

Just getting kicked in good around here, I took a nice deer last nice, but unfortunately for the team it was with the rifle. That just means I am going at it that much harder with my bow the rest of the year! Ill post a picture of last nights deer

Nice buck Oneshot! as for me I have been hunting like a maniac, not much time for anything since Nov 19th I've watched 59 bucks come by my stands, not all in range, but I have passed up a couple dandies.. been hunting full days every day since the 19th... of the days I've had off, 13 total.. Bucks are in full rut out here right now.. dang near got it done on a hog in Washington Sunday...so close on a 155-160 doggin a doe....then found one of my old buddies I havent got a pic of in two years..hes a buck I got pics of when he was 3.5... hes really gotten big.. he had great genes as a 3 year old.. I call him "Kickass".. hes one bad dude.. I hunted him Dec 1 last day of Idahos any weapons season... all day.. saw him with two does but no shot ...cant hunt him again till Dec 10... grrrrr oh well so glad hes alive hes 165-170 grosser.... just a stud 6x5 super tall tines.. 5.5 this year gonna hunt him all of late Dec...

Sadly with the time off I've had the last two weeks I only got out twice. Wife had an unexpected business trip that left me home with the kids and then she came down with the flu. The one day I got out I kept hearing deer in the thicket and was optimistic as the evening went on only to hear an extremely close gunshot and I even heard the deer fall. Could not find the A-hole in question though. Very frustrating but I am hoping to get out two days this week and make a push to put a doe down. Sorry I've come up short so far guys. It's not for a lack of trying I promise.

Good job on the LS cow Troy. I am still out there. Mostly scouting for next year. Located a giant mountain buck last weekend. Had him at 40 yards! Wish I still had a tag. Looking.forward to monitoring his core area. Heading back out tomorrow.

Got it done in the 11 hour ... of my WA St. Late archery season, less than one our of shooting light left .. this dandy 4x5 came down off the mountain, right by my natural ground blind, smoked him at eye level! Pretty cool hunt! Onto my Nextbuk in Idaho, one more archery tag to fill!
