Very nice Troy! Good luck in WA and I don't blame you for looking for a hog in ID for your last tag. Like you said, tons of time yet!

I'm sure you won't have any service up there Dave? I'll send you like a brazillion texts anyways.

Good luck this weekend Crazy Cooter! Lay them down? Are you buck hunting only? Do you have doe tags in your area?

I am hunting a one deer area so I'm buck hunting. The availability of doe tags changes year to year. The state seems to be allowing fewer of them in recent years. But, if I don't have any luck puting down a good buck this Fall I may look for another area to take a doe later in the season.

Very little service where I will be hunting this weekend, basically at the truck. Zero service during our bivy trip.

Thanks Troy.....I've done all the homework I can at this point and if that buck holds his pattern I have a good chance to connect with him.

I prefer to call it the ****ing contest. LOL! I think it ends January 15th. You'll have plenty of time, if you make it to MT.

And, it sounds like you're going to have to buy a couple more stand up freezers!

Hey team, sorry I have not been around much but my oldest son had a bad wreck the same week we started this contest.
Swerved to miss some horses in the road and hit a tree sideways, had to cut him out of the Truck. He had a closed head injury with short term memory loss, 4 broken ribs, one of the ribs cut a kidney, broken back but will not keep him from walking, and a broken Femur. He is doing rehab now.
Been trying to check in to see whats going on when I can but have not had alot of time to socialize.

Good luck to you guys that are getting to hunt this weekend.

Damn Sliver, sorry to hear about your son man. I hope he makes a quick and complete recovery. Sounds like he's lucky to be alive.

Silver, very sorry to hear about your son. I had a bad car reck when I was younger which resulted in a broken back as well but it healed fine over time and doesn't prevent me from doing now. I hope your son recovers well.

Good luck Troy! I'm finishing some accounting things right now and getting the last of my gear together for the weekend. Going to Wyatt's soccer game in the morning, then meeting a realtor to look at a hobby farm and then off to the cabin. Going to be a warm one here!
