Sweet............. Sounds like and looks like we all got some good bucks out there.. And I hope I get a shot at one in velvet.. Mine are coming in at dark, but don't mean that they are not skirting the camera during daylight hours.. Most of these bucks are on an old road bed I am hunting on.. There is a "hidden" pond behind me just off of the road bed.. I hear them walking in it all times of the day.. They may be hitting the food during the nightime hours, BUT THAY HAVE TO HIT THE POND DURING DAYTIME HOURS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I will be waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEATH FROM ABOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The boys that dropped these should still be running around my area. I found the set within 20 feet of one of my stands, and the larger one, with more mass was only about 75 yards away too. I wish I would have been able to find the other side of him. This picture has the rack of the buck in my Avatar in the background to give you some judge of the size comparison.

.............................. Ummmmmmmmmmm............ Well, I was a Law Enforcement Officer for 22 years, when a runnaway 16 year old female kicked me when I was turned around.. Folded my right knee backwards.. After 5 surgeries, rods, pins... I was unable to meet the physical requirements to continue my career.. So, they moved me over to Crime Scene Investigation due to my knowledge of firearms.. Now, I investigate homicides and do trajectory reinactments and ballistics and stuff... AND NO !!!!!!!!!!! WE DO NOT SOLVE CRIMES BEFORE COMMERICALS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Daggum CSI Miami is the worst thing that has happened to Law Enforcement.. There are no machines that when you put in a partial fingerprint, it gives you your mothers maiden name, what car she drives, her ex-husbands blood type and the social security number of her next UNborn child !!! Anyways, back to stickin' some bucks and getting on the board.. I will be in the stand opening day til monday... Hopefully at least get us some points for does.......... If the bucks dont walk by first .........

ALL4HUNTING, Sorry to hear about your knee, low enforcement definately is an unappreciated job, thanks for all you do. The CSI thing, please tell me they do actually make the spray that turns all blood neon blue, I'm really hopeing you could hook me up for tracking deer!! Looking forward to hearing about the weekend and seeing some points on the board, I'm headed to Wisconsin to scout some public land, check some trail cameras, and do some final touches to be ready for my opener on the 17th. Yea i saw it...i need a few big boys to come past my tree this October....I had no luck in KY this am it is only 98 degrees tho. Monday its suppose to cool off may get better.
