Well I saw either 5 does or 2 that went to get their mother and came back. Mom was within range for at least 1/2 an hour or more. The problem was she eyeballed me and we had a stare off for what seemed for ever. The time came to either sit there and keep staring at each other or try to make a move before it went too dark. It was a lose, lose situation. She turned, dipped her head and I tried to stand. Well her and the 2 yearlings bolted, oh well. Better luck next time.

I've got to try getting to this property in the AM. I see all sorts of tracks going to the stand. Unless they're nocturnal but I feel it would be a better chance in the AM and I hate tracking deer at night.
