    I am finally going out again this weekend after my month long battle with the dreaded tick bite. Will be meeting up with some more members of the forum here in west central Wisconsin on Sunday.

    3:50 PM in a tree on a hillside. Must be 25+ feet on one side and 16' on the other. Set up where I saw 3 does enter the backyard of a property that neighbors my friends house.

    I had a nice fat doe 14 yards in front of me. She never turned away from a 1/4 to shot. She froze under the tree limbs sniffing the air. She knew something wasn't right but never bust me. The wind was swirling like crazy so she just backed out never to be seen again. This is the property that has a pretty good buck on it. I was hoping to get a EAB doe today.

    Hope everyone had better luck than me this morning. Forgot my camera mount for my tripod then whent to get my release and it is in 2 pieces. The screw that adjusts the length is gone can't find it in my bag anywhere so needless to say I did not fill a tag and have to make a run to my shop and get a new release

    Might try to get out tomorrow after work. By the time I get settled in the tree it'll be 5:00. That won't leave much time for things to calm down before deer movement and dark.

    I've made it out the past few mornings but the deer sightings weren't great. I can NOT find an oak tree that is producing to save my life. Working nights all weekend and come Monday morning, I'm off for two weeks. Go back to work a week and off another two. I'll make it happen hopefully! Good luck everyone!

    (I need to enter my doe from Oct 5th) :) Just remembered.

    I might be able to get out on Sunday and from what I am seeing NY is exploding with buck activity and chasing. The temps are supposed to be a high of 53 which is about average but the lows are going to be in the 30's and should be great for activity.

    Back in a tree again, different property. I put out a mock scrap but I don't see much buck sign. Back during the summer I had gotten some pictures of some bucks but not lately. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    I went out Friday night and bumped one walking to stand and seen two when leaving. Went Saturday morning and sat with my brother in law because this is first year bow hunting and as soon as we got in stand at 6:15 we seen truck lights driving thru the cow pasture so that summed up our hunt that morning. I decided to sleep in today because will be hunting hard the next few weeks. I checked on some stands to make sure they were safe and while I was doing that I saw a bob cat first time in my life.

    I don't think I'll be getting out until at least next week. I went to get new glasses but I'm having sever double vision and it's making me sick. If the glasses aren't the problem I'm Dr bound. Getting up in the morning isn't bad but driving home I can only use one eye. It like I'm driving in traffic all the time...LOL. UHGGGG
