Went out this morning. Got to the stand at 6:00 AM, 45 minutes before first light. At 7:35 a doe and a fawn came out in the drain field behind me. It was on the neighbor's property and I don't have permission to hunt it. As I was watching the doe her nose went up in the air, her nostrils flared, she stomped and walked off with the fawn. That was the last deer seen today. I left to trim branches and check cameras at 10:30 AM. Now off to the dentist...yeah!

Congrats Pearce and Anthony! Hope you feel better soon, Mike!

I got out Monday evening and took this doe from the ground.

These two pictures, date and time of kill, team number, equipment list or say "equipment listed in signature". Post all of this in the score board thread.

    Nice job.

Nice guys! I've been passing does all week bc I have a solid mid 150's 10pt I'm trying to kill. He's obviously gotten the better half so far this week or I'd have pics of him. I'm still waiting for the right time to dive into a few other properties bc our winds here lately have been very weird (NE winds). Still plugging away, long season left.

I went out this morning and seen two but they were far away. As I walking to my stand I had a very close encounter with a skunk. I am hoping to go out tonight and tomorrow morning.

I'm on a new private property in Pr. William county. It's the second time I've hunted it. Got a picture of a pretty nice buck back in Sept. We'll see what happens.

I watched 3 does walk from the woods about 60 yards away from me into the neighbor's yard. They browsed around in the yard 40-60 yards away from me and never came into the property I was hunting. That was frustrating. I'm gonna try to get out tomorrow again.

Just came back from 2 1/2 days of salmon and steelhead fishing on the salmon river in NY. It wasn't like it was the past few years but that's what happens when you have a late Columbus weekend. I only got 35 hook ups and only was able to land 5. My usual for this weekend would be about 50+ a day and landing well of 50% of them. These fish will wear beat you up in every which direction. If any of you have the chance to do it, go because it is unlike anything you have ever done before. For what ever reason I haven't been able to post pictures for the last year or so, so I wont be able to post the pics. I should be getting out on Saturday to get back to hunting.

Well I'm back in a tree again. I got a late start today, had to get the wife off to work. Then I started out from the house and forgot my hearing aids and had to go back to get them. Can't see, can't hear, getting older SUCKS!!! I didn't get settled in until 9:30 AM. I'm not too upset about the late start because the property owner and I have been seeing deer all times of the day. I'll have to leave late afternoon to be home before the wife to help her in and fix dinner.
    AND THE WAIT BEGINS AGAIN.
