Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around much, have had some family troubles, so trying to deal with them so I can be ready to hit it hard the end of this month when the action starts to pick up around here. Have not had much on cams so far this year at all, until last weekend. So I have actually been letting my spot sit and rest a bit so I don't burn it out. Congrats to everyone who has scored so far, its nice to see us on top of the leader board!!! Here are a couple of the ones I am after this year.

haven't been since sunday in NY.
Work has kept me from making it down to CT at all.
very warm weather hasn't helped. Checked my cams in NY and not a deer during daylight in over a week in either spot. 7:30Pm-5am.
My Mass spots look more promising. I will check the cams this weekend and come up with a plan for opening week next week.
If I have any am activity I may hunt Monday am.. otherwise I can't make it out till Wed PM due to my 2 daughters' basketball and hockey schedules.

Went out yesterday morning for my first morning sit of the year. Saw one doe, and a fork horn. Fork horn was in the river going the other way, not that I would have taken him anyways, it was kind of cool to see, you could see about 4 inches of his back. Came home and had some lunch, before going back out for the afternoon. Walked in about 1 mile to my stand, got all settled in, and realized I forgot my release!!! Decided to just sit it out, and see if anything moved. Didn't see a thing. Went out this morning, and put up a couple of ground blinds, and then took the rest of the day off to watch the Nascar Race. Should have went hunting, the race was kind of boring..

Nice looking setup BigDaddy. I haven't hunted in a week. Went last night to NY and drew my bow to stay warm and loose and the cord to my RipCord drop away snapped. So, I climbed down and left. Gonna have to go get it fixed today.
Today is opening day here in MA. I finally have some nice bucks on cam here. Mostly nocturnal, but 3 or 4 shooters between the 2 spots.

I'm headed up to the camp around mid-day on Thursday. Can't wait to get out there and try to stick another.

Took last weekend off and headed up to Baton Rouge for some football. Had a great weekend if not for the Saints sh**ting the bed AGAIN on the road

Panoramic I took Saturday right at kickoff. The new south endzone expansion looks amazing!

Ole Miss comes to town this week and it should be a hell of a game

Scored on another target buck last night. Not gonna score great but a big mature 3.5 year old buck dressing out at 176lb. This will give us another 50 pts anyway. Ill be hard pressed to ever kill another 6 like this !
    Good luck everyone!
