all of my bucks are still in velvet, but starting to get more nocturnal on me... hopefully the cooler nights coming in will help... just need them in before dark!

I'm just as of this past weekend hearing reports of the velvet coming off here and there. I need to get in the stand!

Good Morning Team, I spent the past two days placing two new LW treestands and clearing some good shooting lanes. Now, I will let them rest for the month and then on September 27 am...we will be sitting at 21 feet waiting for B10, my buck.

I have a question, any of you use LW Assault Hang On II? I found them to be bounce and hard to snug up to the tree. I am using the EZ hang system. Any thoughts?

Sorry Mkwa.. i've never used the LW lock ons.
I tried a climber, but liked my summit better.

I always use the batwing instead of the EZ hang. With the offset bracket I have to loosen the straps because I can get them "too" tight :tu:

    Fitz,
That is a good feedback. I might have to go back out and put the BATWING on it. Thanks.

Waking up tomorrow at 530 am to run to the gym, lift, run back and get cleaned up and head to the farm. Busy day with checking one trail cam and putting out 4. I have two brand new stands to hang and move a latter stand. Trim lanes and do a little shooting. And check on a food plot. If I get anything good I'll post some pictures.

Been super busy at work so had not had time to post pictures from my camera pull. Things look promising for this year.

Great looking bucks guys! Been busy trying to to get this remodel done. I still need to get my canoe set up and swap a few of my cams. Haven't hung a stand yet either :busted:

Not sure if I'll make it out for opener or not. But I leave for Colorado in six days :nana:

Yeah Erik, the bear spot is maybe at most an hour and a half from you huge population. And a big number of sightings and harvests already reported. Going to be great! Good luck next week only a little further until the 27th!!
