Whats up fellas... I hunt primarily private land in Northern MD / Eastern shore MD, but also enjoying hunting public land. My situation this year is kinda weird I will only get maybe 2 weeks to hunt, as I leave for Parris Island 9/22. My season starts in 17 days I should be able to drop a doe on opening day.
Short69 here. Illinois season starts October 1. I have 60 acres of timber/ravines (15 acres are alfalfa/clover hay field) that I share with my son (Fishsoft92-team 23) and that backs up to 400 acres of an aff road park we can hunt also. Bean busy every weekend with graduation parties and weddings, so havent been to the woods to see whats going on. Plan on making out maybe this coming Sunday for a look and to hang a couple stands.
A few of the bucks I've got on camera so far this year. I will also be hunting on the Eastern shore of MD(big buck country around here) 8-10th of September really hoping to put a velvet buck on the ground this year!
How is it going everyone. I hunt public land in Southern Utah. My hunt started Saturday. Here are a couple of pics of the deer I am going after. I have been scouting him for the last month. I got close twice on opening morning. First time he was 100 yards below me on a steep hillside, he heard me when I was trying to get to within shooting range. He ran to where my brother was at. My brother got a shot at him at 57 yards, but he shot high. I followed him around the hillside we were on. I got on him again, this time I was directly above him. He was 80 yards below me standing broadside. I was hoping he was going to bed down and go to sleep so I could put a stock on, but he left with another buck. I ranged a rock at 50 yards. He was walking right to it, but about 15 yards before he got to the spot I was going to shoot him, he turned and headed down the hill away from me. I found him the next morning, but did not put a stock on. I will keep you all posted. Good luck to all of you!

Hey guys, Cliff checking in. I hunt private land in southeast MN. Depending how my season goes I may do some public land hunting in Wisconsin. We are only able to take one Deer this year in MN. That's one more than I got last year though. LOL. Season starts here on Sept. 13th. Good luck everyone, and let's kick some butt.
