Here is my biggest to date, taken 11/4/09. I think he taped at 154 5/8" and netted 152 3/8".

Jim, that is a great buck. Character and size, it doesn't get any better than that!

Sooner, those are solid, drop one of those again this year and we'll be sitting pretty.

    Awesome Bucks Guys!!!

I really am liking our team. No one picked us as a threat...but I think we could be the sleeper team that takes it! If we all pop a doe... You know a few nice bucks will fall... I like our chances.

Here's my 2 best. They both went 160 total inches.

1st is a bow buck taken in 2011 on public land in ND. 12 points.(main frame 8)

Second is a pistol buck taken last year in MN where I do most of my hunting. 11 points.(main frame 10) 22 1/4 inches inside spread, and 27 inch main beams.

Leaving for CO in a day an a half. Will be hunting in five days. It's almost here.

I'm liking our chances as well. We have a really solid team.

You'll be minus one doe for me, you can only get one tag where I live and you have to apply for a an either sex tag. I don't even bother applying for one I just get the over the counter buck tag. Sorry guys but I'll do my best to put some inches on the board with a decent buck.

I don't blame you for going with the buck tag! Hopefully you get to put some bone on the ground this year!

Hello boys, I like picture 5 as well. Here are the two bows I shoot, a 2003 Hoyt Razortec and a 2011 Mathews Z7 Extreme. My bows are hand me downs from my son so I've never actually tried out a bow before I got it. I've liked every bow he's sent my way so I guess that's good.[IMG] My biggest buck with a bow was taken in Kansas in 2011 and was on public land. He scored 159 inches gross and the taxidermist estimated he had 20 inches broken off. My next best was 130 inches also taken on public land in Texas in 2009.[IMG][IMG][IMG] I'll be headed to Wyoming Wednesday night after work. Season opens on the 1st. I'm pretty much ready to go and just watching the clock. :D

Nice bucks Jerry! Sounds like you have that public land figured out. That's what I'm shooting for this year.

    Hey guys,
I posted this in the bowhunting section, and thought I should put it up here also.

    Friday at noon....

Heading back to ND again with my brother and 2 cousins.

Season starts Friday at noon, and we will hunt through Monday.

We will be hunting a sweet little piece of public land that we scored on the last 2 seasons in a row. A buck this year would complete the turkey!

    Here is 2011, and 2012....
Hoping for a velvet moster for 2013!!!
