I didn't hunt the Oklahoma opener...it's just too hot and the season is long. If it cools down in the next week or two I might get out. Good luck to ya'll that are hunting now.

Good luck this weekend guys, I'm headed to northern Minnesota this weekend for a walleye fishing weekend with my son. The weather is going to blow but I'm still looking forward to some good quality father/son time.

    Hunt hard, hunt safe!

Walleye fishing sounds great! I had a difficult time this afternoon trying to decide if I should go striper fishing or hunting. Decided to go hunting after the big front moved through. Had 20 turkeys and an armadillo under my stand. No deer. Heard some hogs fighting when I got out of the stand. Should have gone striper fishing :D.

Good looking rub right there. Find the rascal that did that and put an arrow in him! :D

That's a helluva a rub! I have a couple more game camera pics that I just picked up from my farm of the perfect 10. He grew to be quite a stud. I'll post after I get home from work tonight.

Made it back from our adventure north, didn't see the sun for 4 days and the temps never made it out of the 40s but we caught a few fish and had a great time.

The crops are just starting to come out around here so it is time to get serious and get in the woods. Hopefully with the crops coming out we see a little more movement and the big boys start hanging out in the woods. It is going to be interesting to see what we have the next few weeks.

I'm looking forward to getting back in the woods this weekend!

That is a great buck Mark, put him down! I would guess he'll go 145+ and could be over 150".

Yeah, I'm not sure. We were thinking mid 150's with very little deductions. He grew quite a bit from July which surprised me. I guess there is only 1 way to know for sure!

He definitely could go that high, I tend to try to be conservative. He is a stud, he would be a no doubt shooter for me. Like you said put him down and then there is no question where the score comes in.

I'll be out 3 times this weekend, my son and I will hunt Friday evening at my place. I'm headed out with a friend Saturday morning to hunt and pull cameras off his place and probably go out Sunday afternoon to my place again to set cameras and sit a couple hours.

    Good luck out there guys!

Well, Muley is dead. My buddy took him on Sunday night. He scored 140 1/4". A very nice mature deer. On to the next one :)

You gotta at least add a pic of him Jerry. That was a heck of a buck.

Both of those bucks are studs. Good luck on the other one.
