englum-sounds and looks good to me. If everybody ok's it then its fine. I personally like the sunrise/sunset pic with the bowhunter. I think it would go good with Death at Dawn team name. But I really am impartial either way.

Well, I have tried to stay out of my areas most of the summer. Put some stands up last weekend and this one. In my one area I had 5 different bucks that weer between 105 to 120 last year. They should all be shooters this year. I think most if not all survived our rifle season last year so they should be good deer now.

I have put some cams out and will put a couple more up this week.

My one buddy in Alberta called this week and said he has seen some bruisers. He saw a 170 plus walk right under one of my stand sights, and knows of two others that will breal 170.

To be honest I would be really happy with a 150. I enjoy seeing my friend and the antelope hunting a lot. We decoy for antelope it is a blast.

I just dont want to let my team mates down my seasons seem to be feast or famine. Great deer ( at least to me they are ) or cannot get close.

What I do for a living: I'm 21, going to school (criminology) and working at Wal-Mart (2 years). I'm being considered for a salaried position as Asset Protection Coordinator right now!

I started bowhunting last year, and have been addicted ever since.

    The pics are:

    -My first bow kill
    -My bow
    -One of my bucks
    -Some of my kills
-And me with my "Game Face" on, lol

These are some pics of some of the deer that the neighbors/friends/family have killed just so you guys can get some idea of the potential of the deer in my area.

I just have alot to learn yet, lol.

I did see a couple last year that were 160 class bucks, they just wouldn't come into range. This summer I have seen some monsters though, that would rival these pics. I'm pretty pumped.

I'm a Assistant golf course superintendent (long title) been doing that for about 9 years and I'm ready to move up soon. I started hunting when I was 12 in some great areas down in IL I'm now 30. After I moved to WI I've struggled to find good areas to hunt that aren't public and beaten to death. I also can't afford to pay big money to lease a farm. Last year I found a farmer willing to allow me to hunt his property. It's only about 40 acres but it does have a few deer moving through. He does allow other hunters also that I don't trust, so no cameras either. I did take two deer last year so I hope to do the same this year. The buck was my biggest bow kill yet. I still need to get him scored. I'll get a pic of him up soon.

I'm trying some new broadheads this year. Their called "The Reign". Its kind of a hybrid head. They fly great compared to my old G5 montec. Much quieter also. Check out the site at www.ephunting.com I did purchase them here for cheaper which is how I found this great forum.

I helped track a doe last year that was shot with those. He hit her very well, but there was little blood to follow. We ended up not finding her. Hope you have better luck with them than that guy did!!!

I've made shots thinking they were good and when the deer was found it ended up not being such a good shot. A little high and a little back usually means not much blood and a longer track. You could kill a deer with any broadhead. The most important thing is shot placement and confidence of making that good shot. I used the montec for a elk hunt that I went on a number of years back and stuck to them. I was ready for a change and thought about the rage but never really liked mechanicals. I also helped a guy track a buck last year who was using the rage. He knew it wasn't the greatest shot and he never found the deer. I saw this one and decided to give them a try. I think they'll do the job, although a little luck is always a good thing when out in the field.

Treehopper, just got the package today and I'll probably try it out next weekend moving a stand or two. Thank You!

Well guys went out to the farm this past weekend to see how our food plots were doing and check the game camera. The food plots are excellent. We planted a mixture of sorghum and Eagle soybeans. The plot is so thick that deer haven't even got into the middle of the plots yet. We planted three 3 acre plots. The game camera had a nice 3.5 8 pointer on there. Probably go high 120's. Not a shooter for me but is still nice to see.

Your welcome guys. Just need Momighty's waist size and I can get his out. If I can get some hats made up would you wear them?

Received a call from my buddy and guide in Alberta he swears he has video of a 175 180 straight ten from last night on one of the properties I will be on. I cannot wait.

Talk to you all soon. Oh, how do I get the avatar to show by my name?

I would definitely wear the hat. I'll even put it on in the pic for my buck this year...if I'm so lucky to take one, of course!
