ahhhh, this should be fun! Saw a mention of a team name - any ideas?
Also, I was able to get out on Saturday AM....was absolutely gorgeous - but didn't see ONE deer. The squirrels were all over the place, but again, no deer. A little disappointing, especially because I can't get out until Oct 29th now....but hopefully there will be more movement then. For the IL crew, I cannot believe how many of us have not seen much, if anything thus far. let's keep the temps dropping and maybe that will help

Team name ideas? let me know! Happy Hunting All!

Went out yesterday evening for my 1st real hunt of the year. Saw 8 doe's and fawns, 4 of which were with In range. I get only one tag where I hunt so I won't be shooting at any doe's unless I'm still without a buck come the last week In December. I did get some very encouraging news though yesterday regarding my deer hunting. Good luck all!! The team name you picked out mp sounds good to me!!

I went out tonight and will be out this weekend as well. I dont care what the moon phase is or if its raining. Just because i have my buck tag filled doesnt mean i cant stop learning what the bucks are doing.

Been out 4 times so far. Mostly all doe's and fawns. On my last sit right at dark I heard two different sparring matches going on. It kept me In the tree for 45 minutes past dark being I didn't want to spook them. I have no Idea on the size of bucks but the last sparring match sounded fairly Intense and had some weight behind It. Cool sit It was!

Wasn't able to get out last weekend due to work and family in town for the game. But this weekend is the Bears BYE weekend, so I took Friday off of work and Isaiah and I have 3, full-day sits set for Fri-Sunday. Hopefully we won't need all 3 of the days to take a couple down. The wind should die down today/tomorrow, low is in the mid-high 30's at night and high in the low 50's. Hopefully we'll see some movement with the cooler temps (and the fallen leaves from all of this crazy wind we've had!)

I think if I would just loose a crap load of weight, it would make my deer look a whole lot bigger!

Good job D34! That there is veal....yum!

Hey Lead....did you get your buck scored?

Nothing on my end yet....haven't had much time yet. Starting to see more deer moving crossing the roads, and more roadkills. I imagine it will be heating up soon around here. I'll get out alot more in Nov hopefully. Good luck to everyone....I'm feeling some points will be racking up soon!

I havent got an official score yet, he's at the taxi right now. When i get him back, which should be within a couple weeks, i'll get him scored and post some pics of the mount in our team thread. Im sticking with my guess of low to mid 130's.
