I'm cool with Got Booner and Srtiek for the captaincy.

Click the link in my sig and go to "Guided Hunts" then "Scouting" and check out the 2011 pics for some of the bucks I'll be after this year.

Yeah, we've got some good ones on camera this year. They become difference animals once that velvet comes off. Hopefully I can get one of them to cooperate and "smile for the camera" when it counts.:tu:

Oh my, I just got word that a booner was killed by vehicle deer slotter early this morning near the entrance of my property. I am waiting photos. Fingers crossed it’s not "Ghost" or I’m not hunting anymore.

Dang Selfbros that would really suck! I'm anxious to hear what deer it was and I hope it wasn't your buck. Try not to let it bother you if it was there will always be more big ones out there than we know about. I'm also tracking your food plot situation. I'm sorry to say I don't have any solid advice to offer on the situation. I agree with what others said and just let nature take its course and I really don't see an issue with going back in just to check the trail cam and slipping out again. Like you, I've been vary curious about the vanilla extract thing so I'm deffinatly going to do it but only at one of my stand sites to give it a "test" so to speak. I also ordered the buckfever shyt and I'm going to try my hand at a mock scrap at another stand location then I have a sort of strange place picked out where I am going to try to do both. Like always I wish the best of luck to you and everyone on the team. Fingers crossed.

I think "Got Booner" was the end result, or GB for short. Thanks for sending out the PM's

Yep and here he is. Sorry fellas I looked the other week at the Contest tab and didn't think teams had been made yet. I see you guys have selected a quality team name for us. We've got to step it up and lay a couple booners down! Anyway, I'm from NW Wisconsin. I bow hunt (7 years) and rifle hunt (12 years). I'm 26 now. I can't wait to talk with you guys and continue talking with the rest of the site as I know only you guys understand the obsession I have for scouting and hunting of mature whitetails.

I have 2 properties that I lease. One is 120 acres and the other is 100. My third property is just under 560 acres. The 3 properties are all within 4 miles of each other as the crow flies. Unfortunately, I live a couple hours away from this land now so I'm relying on others to check trail cams, thus I simply haven't got my best bucks on camera yet. I have 8 bucks on my hit list that I've seen either on trail camera or when scouting the few nights when I was back home. I know there are at least this many more and the 2 bucks that were near the top of my hit list last year haven't showed up yet. I don't think they were harvested last year so I hope they will show up soon. Due to my work schedule and travel I will only be hunting weekends, but will hunt every weekend. Somehow I don't work the the 26th or 27th of October and will be taking either November 3, 4 or November 4, 11 off if I haven't filled my buck tag yet.

I was supposed to be heading to ND this weekend as well as I wanted to harvest a velvet buck this year. I scouted 1 weekend a month ago and had been doing online research/looking at topos , however, my group bailed so I'll stick to just WI this year.

Welcome to the team Dunn. It sounds like you have alot of great places to hunt with alot of promise. We have been working on the team name a bit I think they settled on "got booner" although I think we got booners is funnier. Oh yes srtiek is our team capatahn. Anyhoot welcome aboard its good to have you with us:tu:

Welcome to the team. I think it is looking good so far this season and from the looks of it seems we might set some good ones.
