Team 18 - Does Be Trippin'

I'll be hitting the woods most evenings Friday through Friday.

 

Hopefully tonight will be a good one. Haven't been in the stand in about 2 weeks.

I believe from here on out it's all evening sits for me unless my camera tells me different.

 

It should be around 30 for me this evening with a real feel around 20.

 

Didn't see any this evening. Not sure about tomorrow evening, but I will definitely be out Sunday through Tuesday evenings.

 

I think I'm going to take my middle son out on the doe only gun hunt this weekend. I've never seen much value in that hunt...but with kids, it should be fun.

Well I'm running out of time to fill my tags. It is bothering me to be honest, but I'm still going to hunt as much as possible. Planning on hitting the lease property at least one more time.

 

I feel ya brother. But, I have killed bucks in January so I know it's not over yet.

 

I've been out Friday, Sunday, and Monday evenings and not a single sighting. Going to try it again on Wednesday and Friday for sure. Possibly on Thursday depending on what happens Wednesday.

 

How are the food sources in your area? We've been seeing a lot of does and fawns on camera in our beans...but not much for bucks.

Hey guys I wanted to check in since it's a while. I went out one day last week to try and get another doe but ended up not seeing a single deer. Good luck to you that are still out.

 

That might be part of the problem. There are a number of good good sources around the properties I hunt but not real good on the properties. But usually in the late season I catch them going to the food. Just haven't seen them yet. Plus I did dump 200 pounds of corn that they haven't found yet either. Once they hit that I'll be good for 3 or 4 days straight.

 

Did anyone PM Jackflap about his missed measurement?

 

I have a question. Is the contest a buck and doe contest or can you enter 2 does for 50 points each?
