Dude, you got me on that one. Looked at the pic before reading the text. What a stud! Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I had my #1 at 10 yards...from the Jeep as I left the property. Ended up seeing 4 does and a little 6 during my sit. I'll be back after him in the morning.
Lol. Sorry about that. I was worried about that. Just a share. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Well worth the confusion. I have had to look back a couple times. That thing has a lot going on... Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Now, that is dragging him out like a boss! Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I too enjoyed family and football tonight. Hitting the blind early tomorrow and staying until blood is shed...or my butt gets tired. My top 3 all made daylight appearances in the plot this week.
Rained on me. Saw nothing. I'm damned frustrated men. I just haven't complained about it till now. Got a plan for the morning and as long as the deer move I have a decent shot at a stud. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Doe down. Smoked her then called buddy with a tracking does to come find her. Ran about 50 yards on a double lung. Shot her in my back yard food plot.
Lots of frustration here too. I've heard deer are moving everywhere and people are putting big boys down left and right, but I just haven't seen much of anything moving in my area. Other than seeing my buck my cousin shot 2 times in day light on my camera, I've seen nothing. They are saying best hunting times this year are the 7th through the 14th, with the 12th,(tomorrow) being the absolute best day. So, I'm planning on being out there tomorrow as much as I can.
Sweet! Congrats man. I need a backyard foodplot. Life goals and all. Backstraps for breakfast! Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Dude same here. I'm beginning to think my season is cursed with terrible timing and bad decisions. That buck that I couldn't find any blood on was the beginning of it all. I haven't seen anything since. It's like I'm paying for it. But I keep getting up and pushing myself because the reality is that its hunting and there aren't any guarantees. BUT IT STILL SUCKS. Man, I've been hunting now for nearly 40 years and it's all part of the game. I've had great runs, I've had dry spells. Years that were looking promising that turned to crap and years that were looking terrible that were awesome. Just takes a few seconds in the woods and your entire season could turn into your best season ever. You won't even remember the so called bad stuff, it's just part of the game. If it was so easy all the time would we still love it as much as we do? That's why I'm a bow hunter, not just a hunter!!!!!
I'm in the blind and waiting for a booner...or maybe just a poper. This will be my last chance before our trip to Disney (with the inlaws) and gun seasons start to open up.
