So they are saying the day time high on Friday is going to be at least a 22 degree difference from Thursday. That itself should have deer moving like crazy let alone it being the rut. I bet some nice ones hit the ground tomorrow!!!!! Hopefully my son and I will get a nice double!!!!!
That's what I was thinking. I don't recall ever doing that on a hunting team. Maybe another week or so, and then I will check on people.
Saw a little buck shortly after 7. Then my arthritis in my sacrum was hurting so bad I had to get down. Guess it was colder than I thought it would be. I'll regroup and try it again this evening.
Lovely evening here in Ohio in the rut with snow flurries. Doesn't get much better than this. Now all I need is a nice buck to make a visit!!!!!
I'm trying to find more clothes for the morning hunt tomorrow. 23° with a 10 mph wind. I enjoy the cold, but that's COLD!
I froze Friday morning so I got out my late season gear for the evening hunt. Was much better. Suppose to be in the upper teens here where I'm at tomorrow morning but I'll be out again.
Been on stand for a little over an hour and can finally see. Was running a little early this morning for some reason. Hoping to see some action from the same stand I shot my buck from 367 days ago. Weather app says real feel of 10° and I believe it! Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
