Appreciate it. That was my thoughts as well. It is just too good right now, and it is killing me being at work. I may try to sneak out tomorrow or even this evening. The weekend is warmer and next Wednesday I start rutcation.
South wind my butt! More like East, then West, then North...mostly East. Deer can come from anywhere here, so it shouldn't matter too much. They didn't like my mock scrape, but opened up their own 3 feet away on the same tree. Here goes nothing...
Squirrels, chipmunks, and birds, are on overdrive. Not sure about you guys, but for me that is usually a good sign.
Hate it when that happens...but the one that's fixin to cross your path tonight is even bigger. Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Well guys! I nearly killed at least what I thought was at least 150" 10 point. I saw him coming through the brush about 6:40, so I was nearly out of light. When I saw him I knew immediately I wanted to take him down. He came to my lane about 20 yards out and I saw something was wrong. He was only a half rack. Stud of a deer and I would of definitely shot him. He never knew I was there. Talk about going from a high to a low in a matter of seconds. Of course I let him walk. He was definitely a bruiser.
Wind is shifting from south to north here by 7am. I may try and get out after another doe in the morning. Good luck guys.
This was a buck that wasn't on my camera at all. From what it looked like there wasn't any bone at all on the left side.
All settled in. 30 min til shooting light. Though it doesn't have quite the same excitement with out that buck tag in my pocket. Sent from my XT1254 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Damn. I've seen 6 bucks already. Zero does of course. Had about a 140 inch buck at 10yds. Another about 110-115 at 20.
