season starts sep 30 for me. i should be able to get out that weekend. .i typically hunt 2-3 afternoons during the week and 2-3 sits sometime over most weekends. Seeing a few nice young bucks on camera and in alfalfa field, but nothing i am too excited about yet.

Something about the logo looked familiar to me, and I've been rattling it around in my brain (what's left of it). This morning it hit me. Was this an Ohio State logo originally? LOL. I guess I can live with it seeing as how there isn't anyone from Michigan on the team. LMAO.

Meet Tipsy and Clone. They are 4 year olds that ran together all last year. No free passes this season. IMAG1037.JPG IMAG1084.JPG IMAG1069.JPG IMAG1093.JPG

Wowwww....yeah, no free passes!! I need to go pull a card tomorrow. Looks like I am moving a ladder stand too. This is only my second year on this lease, and it has driven me bonkers sometimes with how random the deer are using it.

Great looking options you have there, and I'd love to see a tailgate picture sometime soon. That second one has so much going on, it looks like horn salad. I know you would be thrilled with either, but which one would you pick/prefer?

The big boy! I call him Clone because last year he looked just like my buck from '15.

The smaller of the 2 is actually the more dominant buck. He will chow on the corn/mineral for 20 mins before the other guy gets a turn.

Here they were in February... Screenshot_2017-08-18-14-04-45-1.png

received_10100327926575812.jpeg Today was my first attempt at a food plot. Oats and turnips in a 20 yard hole in the canopy. I have realistic expectations of catching a couple does in there this season.

Awesome. Those turnips will be gold late when it gets cold, and it's my favorite time to hunt. I like extremely cold weather for deer hunting. I'm weird I guess bc I hate cold weather with a passion. It's the only time I'm out in the cold. To hunt.

There were 7 scrapes in this small area last year, so I'm at least on a good travel route. Now to decide if I want a blind or stand in that back right pine...

I killed this guy 50 yards from where those trail cam pics were taken. No doubt in my mind that they're related. 20170819_084532.jpg
