No problem. I'm not an official scorer but I have scored racks for multiple people and they say I've pretty much been spot on after they had it officially scored.

Well, not sure it is good news or bad news.

Good news is I can still hunt. Bad news.... I broke my nose in 3 places and need surgery once everything heals to put the nose back in place to where the bones are suppose to be. FML

It could have been worse. It could have poked your eye out.

Finally got everything with the move completely done. All I need to do is hook up the washer. The next 16 days are mine. My wife can now have fun putting everything away. I can have fun hunting now.

Alright, I'm back home. Sooooo....I had a big deer hop the fence and come toward my stand right around 5 ish. I had to get turned around without him seeing me and try to get a shot while he was 18 yards. I think he was a 10 and my trail cam caught him from behind later, and now I think I was just full of adrenaline. Looks like a big 9 but not entirely sure. Pic is crap. I'll try to upload it later. Any who...There are two shooting windows back where he was standing and he was in one of them perfectly, but as I drew, he took two steps and the trees there covered his vitals. NO SHOT. He went into the thicket and never came into the open again until he was out of range at 60 yards. Later he chased a spike out into the field at about 100 yards. That was the last I saw of him. At 620 ish the buck that I shot--a smaller 8 I think--stepped into my lane at 20 yards. I pre-range. I drew and then thought nah. Let down my draw. He looked my way again, and I thought he may be better than what I originally thought in the failing light. So I said screw it. Drew back, settled the first pin, floated it behind the shoulder, and sent it. The shot looked good to me and the deer mule kicked and hauled ass. I found the arrow about 80 yards away lit and laying in the woods. We looked for a few hours and never found a drop of blood. I'm totally upset about this. We have tons of coyotes, and I know they will find him tonight. I'll be out in the morning looking and hoping. Doubt I'll sleep.

Now that I see that pic, that might be the same 8 I posted a pic of before. Damn he looked huge in person at 18 yards. I may have buck fever. Do any of you just lose your mind when shooter bucks show up? I know that isn't a Booner, but to me that is a great deer.

Damn, man. That's no fun, but I bet a nice buck will soothe the pain of it all. Hang in there and good luck.

Go get that buck ridge! I'm headed to the stand for my first morning sit of the year. It sure was tough to get up. It's hard to get this motivated for a doe but it's the rut and I should get a show at least no matter what. Good luck out there today.

    Sure do...

Good luck with your recovery this morning! Hopefully he circled back and you walked right past him in the dark.

Just got down. Going to regroup for the evening. 2 cameras I'm going to check in an area I haven't sat in yet. Hoping a couple big boys are on the cameras.
