My MIL is in town next weekend, so I have permission to hunt the whole time. I go back to work 2 days and then hunt non-stop until the 7th. I can't wait!
Grunted in a buck right at the end of the night. It was raining and tried to get my binos on him but could see through the wet glass. Not sure how big he was but stopped about 35 yards out behind some brush looking for the grunt
Sorry guys, this is the least active I’ve ever been on a team. Been working nights and life has been crazy. Been out a few times mostly on the shore sika deer hunting. Passed a few shots on does. I’ll put some points up soon though.
I believe so. Bushnlo killed first doe, your doe and Bear has a buck and a doe. I think your doe was the last one posted to the score card tho.
Sorry i havent been that talkative this year. Been busy with work and by the time I get home I dont even wanna go near a computer. I've only been out a few times this year. Good or bad, not sure. I've had years that I hunt a ton in October and then come rut i'm burnt out so maybe its a good thing i've been holding out. I didnt go this past weekend because of the 70+ degree temps. I'll be be hunting this coming weekend though. Thinking saturday morning, evening and sunday morning most likely. Work Monday-Wednesday and then i'll be hunting Thursday-Sunday . Also got November 8th, 9th, and 13th off for a extra long weekend. Getting pumped and cant wait to get out.
Possibly Thurs. evening. It's very windy here (about 18 mph) so I'll pass tonight and tomorrow is supposed to be 20+ mph.
I finally got my doe posted. I'll get the buck posted as soon as I have time to score it. My guess is it will be right around 120
25 degree drop in temps here Friday....looks like I'm getting sick, boss! I'll have all day down on some public land that is good for does and bucks, and I plan on hunting all day Saturday too. Gonna sneak out on the lease in a few minutes and brave the wind.
I'm with ya, my vacation request was approved today. Thinking all day sit in the creek bottom if the wind holds.
Wednesday is out. Thursday evening is a go. Wife isn't giving an inch for Friday and Saturday which will be big moving days. She gave me Sunday even though we usually do church. Then the next 2 and 1/2 weeks are mine, barring maybe one day. So next up for me is Thursday evening.
Just got back from Rural King and just spent $60.00 on pee. Who would have ever thought they would strike it rich selling pee.
