I'm right there with you. I've spent the last two days searching around the house for my license, all while trying not to alert the wife to the fact that I lost it. No luck so far...might have to bite the bullet and spend the $5 for a reprint. Otherwise, a quick wash of the clothes should have me ready...I think.

I see some pretty funny stand setups at work, but this was a first for me. The dude painted every big tree in a 100 ft circle around his ladder stand. They say +/- 20 and +/- 30...not exact yardage, because that might confuse his pin selection. 20170927_093416.jpg

That is awesome! Though, I may have been using my climber wrong all these years.

I could hear the combines running on the neighboring property last night, so it's about to get interesting. I'm not exactly sure when the corn on my lease is up for harvest, but I'm thinking this week some time. The crazy thing is for the second year in a row the deer have vanished from the property. I just don't get it. I left it alone for weeks, but when I pulled cards there were no new pics for weeks whereas I was getting at least does. It's early yet and I'm not super concerned since Sept is a weird month for the deer anyway. It just irritates me.

I've been trying to post some pics on the thread for the last 3 days of one of my hit listers but it keeps saying security error. Does anyone know what's up with that?

Shawn, what are you using to try to post the pics? Phone? Laptop? Is the error being produced by the site or by Windows?

Finally back home. Got today, tomorrow an half a day Saturday to hunt. Hopefully something will hit the ground. But I'll still have Nov. 1- Dec. 19 to hunt whitetails only.

It looks like my weekend hunt is off. I think the wife and I are going camping instead. Nothing is moving on my lease like last year this time. I think I'll leave it alone for a while...closer to rut. My only other option is public land.

Hey Drew, do you mostly deal with a lot of open terrain to get on whitetails there, or are there thicker areas? I have an image in my head of the vast open country out there, but I've never been. I know it is beautiful, but I've always wondered how different tactics play out in your neck of the woods. I grew up hunting woods and mountains now I'm in Ag country in MO...the transition has been slow.

For whitetail we usually hunt river bottoms. We don't see much whitetails up in the mountains. I'll have to take some pics and post them for you or I send you them in a pm. We got a little bit of everything haha

I'm using my phone, which I've always used. This problem started about 3 or 4 days ago. The site is generating the message.

Hmmm. Pm Justin or even fitz and see if they know what's up. Probably the easiest route.

Shawn, My Android has given me a similar error in the past. Restarting the phone didn't fix it, so I reinstalled the app. All better then.
