I agree man. I tend to see the good in people especially fellow hunters. Maybe just a sober talk will be good for you both. Sucks but maybe not as much as that initial blow. Idk. Sorry to hear it either way this close to opener. I bet some horn on the ground before gun opens will help immensely. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
You guys are awesome...I went straight to how I could sabotage the place and make the guy not want to come back.
As a kid we hunted public land for AZ mulies. Somebody moved in on one of "our" waterholes, so my dad smeared tiger poop all over the concrete water tank. Not a single critter drank there for a month! And to answer your question; my dad had a friend who worked at a big cat rescue.
This is one of my target bucks. Season opens Saturday but I doubt if I make it out until Monday. Good luck to everyone
Dude that thing is ridiculous in the best way! Hope you bag him. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I did get down to Kentucky but I got down there late, then I got a call late and I had to leave earlier than planned so didn't get to do any hunting down there, plus it was in the 90s and I wasn't feeling it anyways. Now I'm waiting for Saturday here in Ohio. Several of these bucks are still showing up in daylight and I'm hoping my grandson will bag one of them.
It is finally going to cool down here! I think I can get one or two evening hunts in this week at the lease, and I'm thinking of heading to some public land this weekend for an all day sit/try something new kind of day. It's a 45 min drive for me, and I'll head to the same spot that paid off late season last year. It is such a good pinch point and had a ton of buck sign last year that I can't resist checking it out. It's deeeeeep in there in the middle of nothing but oak trees. This year I'll pack in about half the weight though, and hope to pack out a lot of weight. I love this time of year. Best of luck to you all.
Lookin like i'll be able to hunt this coming weekend. Suppose to be in the 60's which is ok I guess. I'll probably hunt saturday and sunday morning and then come home for football Atleast I'll get to check 2 or 3 of my cameras as they are easy to access. (I need some new pictures to drool over so its bugging me not knowing)
I have several shooters in my areas I hunt, but I finally got my shooter on camera this year. Not #1 on my hit list, but he won't be getting a free pass though
