Finally had a decent sit yesterday. Seen several deer in the morning. Went to draw back on a doe but I guess I made a noise because she looked right up at me and tok off. I'll be in the tree until sunday evening. Hoping to help our cause.

Anyone getting out during the week this week? Hunting has been slow for me since no hunting sundays here and it is dark when I get off work but I got to okay from the boss to scoot out this afternoon a few hours early. Truck is packed and the bow is ready for action! Unfortunately the orange army is in the woods these next couple of weeks but hopefully that gets these deer moving!

I was able to get out during the week last week but other then that, i'm limited to weekends. Problem here has been all the cold days have been during the week, then the temps get up to 50-70 on the weekends and deer stop moving. I've had just bad luck this year, everything that can go against me has. The best opportunity I've had to take a doe, she crossed directly down wind as I was drawing back and took off. I have until Jan. 6th so there's still plenty of time left. I'll be out this weekend but temps are going to be in that 50-70 range so we'll see what happens.

 

Any of you guys have any retired QAD exodus 125 grain broadhead I could try out for off season?

It sucks in Massachusetts because us poor working slobs only have basically Saturday to hunt most Saturdays I have to work.

 

I hear you there Bob. I am about to walk in now for my Saturday ritual. Hopefully they are moving. Sorry Van, I dont have any Exodus.

So here’s where we stand , after I get my rack back I’ll enter my score and put us around 400 pts, if jaske submits his with required photos probably would be another 115+. What’s everyone’s status? Still a lot of opportunity to be a competitor in this especially if everyone drops a doe

I'm in a stand with my nephew today. Hope to see something today.

This is my third year and each year I've had issues with most of the team just disappearing. The leaders are the teams with the most active members.
