I don't even have my cameras out yet. I'm falling behind this year. Should be able to get a few out next week.

Not yet Van, Just got permission to hunt my spot. I got a camera in on Sunday it's a Moultrie with a modem and got pictures three hours later. Mostly doe but there were a couple bucks one looked decent the other was a spike. I liked the spot so much I brought a double ladder stand out there Monday. I went back Tuesday to put it up, I use a pulley and climbing sticks to pull a single up a tree but the double was just too much. I had to get help but won't be able to do it til this coming Monday.

Yeah I hate those doubles, my buddy insisted on using one and I told him I’ll find you a spot but that stand stays there lol

It's my first one, I like the idea of all the room. I bought it last year but didn't use it til now.

What's everyone shooting? I always like to see all the different equipment. I have a mathews halon 6 set to 27" at 65# using gold tip primos 400 arrows with NAP doublecross and some lighted nocks. My arrow weight is 420gr (+- 5gr) coming in at about 280fps.
I've had a lot of fun shooting this mathews. Almost got a triax but the halon was about $350 cheaper and I didn't notice a big enough difference to justify the higher price tag.

Funny you guys say that, I have a buddy who I helped put up a double stand last year. We need to move it in a couple of weeks because last year all the activity around that stand was at night. The deer really took over a mock scrape I made and just tore it and the licking branch up like crazy. What sucked was it is like .7 miles from the road and I still managed to see like 5 other hunters on opening day so I want to make sure it gets put in a hard to reach spot but I feel like up here those are few and far between

Also I am shooting a Mathews Z3 set at 60# flinging 5mm Easton FMJ's with white wrap and 100gr Iron Will broadheads. I think I come in around 424gr total finished weight but I want to add 50gr of brass up front but idk if it is possible to remove the HIT inserts that are already in my shafts. I dont care a ton for speed, just want the momentum for 2 holes since 99% of the time my shots are like 25yds and in

I'm shooting a Blackout SS made by Diamond for Bass Pro. 61# not sure of the speed but people comment on its speed. I have a Ultra rest Pro rest on it and The Optimizer Ultra site. I ordered the EZV sight I'm going to mess with. I'm shooting 4 fletch 2" feathered Gold Tip's 340's with 100 grain brass inserts and this year I'm using 125 grain Magnus Black Hornet Ser Razors. I love my Truefire 4 finger release. I sleep with it! LOL Not really.

I've got the HHA Virtus rest and Optimizer Ultra and love them. Bob 1 totally agree on the 4 finger release. I shoot a 4 finger Carter Insatiable and after this could never go back to an index finger style

I just got a tru ball incredible 4 finger release. My first thumb release and I love it. I had a Scott samurai before which i really liked but all the practicing really made the leather band smell so i opted for something that wouldn't carry near as much odor.

I went from the Scott itty bitty goose. I like the idea of the true fire release hanging on the D loop ready to go.

I just did something crazy. I ordered a Tactacam professional. I’ve always wanted to film my hunting but the cameras were complicated. This looks so easy, I just had to pull the release!
