Triax is awesome. I bought one last year that was 60-70. I decided this summer to sell and grab one that is 50-60. I’ve got it set on 58. That buck was at 14 or so yards and it blew threw him. He never knew what happened. Plus it’s super quiet.

Congratulations and awesome shot Sooner! Well done! I love those Killzones too. I've had 100% success with them. I just got some Spitfire XXX to try out but still have a killzone in my quiver just in case.

They are a deadly head. I think this one was number 19 with them. Nothing has made it very far.

Most of them go down within view from what I have experienced.

Hey katt, I'm at Davey Crockett right now. A buddy lives in the national forest and we decided to set up today about 15 minutes from his house.

    287 between Crockett & Pennington
More like 7 miles outside Crockett on 287 @. CR4140. Go 2 miles on 4140. There's a forest burn tower. I've never hunted this area, but it's public land. Keep me posted, I'll try to help much as I can.

No problem, if you look in that area, there is a small lake S/SE of that pin marker. Zoom in and look close.

I've decided I'm not going to hunt tomorrow. With bad weather rolling in overnight and temps getting close to the 90s, I'd rather not be miserable out there.

I’ve got a few deer coming in now. I’ll get the score on my buck this evening. An update the scorecard.

I know, when I went to check stands and feeders, it was suppose to be in the mid 80s. Turned to be in low 90s. There were predicted rain, but it only sprinkled few minutes. Good I didn't plan to hunt!
