Hey guys, it looks like we have a good mix from around the country. When does everyones season start? Oct 1st better get here quick or my wife will pack my backs, I'm getting hard to live with.
My son has a youth season in a couple weeks so that will good. I will film him so hopefully he can get a good one.
Not me for captain and any not so serious name will be fine,
Good luck to all... and by the looks of bucks from previous years we should have a strong team.

02 Oct for VA... Some counties/cities have an early season, I am not lucky enough to have anyone's property to hunt right now.

We also have a youth day this month, but my son has chosen to wait another year and let dad get a deer before him! (that's not what he is saying, but I think that is in his mind)

OK a name... Team Mental State... Since I get into a good mental state in the woods?! Or Team Happy Place! Yeah, its kinda gay, but dammit I'm secure in my manhood.

My 2010 season officially kicks off tonight. For the month of September it is a doe only season. I will be entering the woods with my recurve for the first time ever this afternoon. I have a HUGE piece of property to hunt....I will be hunting about a 1/3rd acre creek spot in my backyard! hahahaha! One never knows what gift might come down the trail. I should be entering the woods around 4pm when the wife gets home.

I shot from elevation and 20 yards this morning and the broadheads are flying well. If given an opportunity I am going to try to keep my shot at 18 yards or less.

Mine starts on the 25th but I doubt I will be in the woods by then, with a baby coming I will have to pick my time carefully. I did just hang my ladder stand on my grandma's property, what a pain in the butt.

Hey guys, I set up my avatar with the one Hunteropel would like to use and I tink it looks good.

Let me know what you think. If we come up with something different that's fine too.

Our season opens Oct. 1st, but I will be at the University of Pittsburgh visiting our son for parents weekend that day. Should be able to get out later that week after work, can't wait.

    Take care....Brian

Right click the avatar and save picture as "whatever you want"

Then go to "User CP" on the left hand side of your screen.

    "Change Avatar"

Select custom avatar and browse your pictures to find the correct pic and upload it.

Hey guys, we need to give Comescrashing a hand with his hunting area. I will be going over his hunting area, a public land spot over the next couple of days to help him out. I think he has a legit shot at putting down his first deer with his bow this year. I will post up the map so you guys can mark it up and help him out. I will do the same.

Here is a link to where he has the ability to hunt. He can hunt in Unit 2, zoned in all green. I am going to send him a marked up map to help him out here today or tomorrow. I will post my thoughts on here and you guys can weigh in at any time. Lets get him onto his first deer with a bow!
