Man, I couldnt even imagine hunting if I were both of you. Take your time. Lifes to short to stress over hunting when other things need your attention.

MN I was born here in Pontiac and lived here 99% of my life. This little town is a great town. We all pretty much know each other and have seen each other every day if you are out and about. We have 12,000 people roughly for population. I used to work for the Livingston County Sheriff's Department which Pontiac is our county seat. Then I worked with the Pontiac Fire Department as a volunteer so I know the Pontiac Police Department really well. They have been a big part in my life and I have a few friends on that department. It is just tough for our town and friends to loose a great guy in Casey. My wife knows his mother and they went to school together. He had a great personality and just all around great guy. News people have been all over town the past few days and I am sure that the services will be packed with all the Law Enforcement from all over coming to town. Like I said before gonna be tough for a while. Thank you all for the prayers.

So I hunted Wednesday and had to work yesterday. Guess who shows up YESTERDAY in the Interstate Plot....

That takes the wind right out of me. He walked within 20 yards of my stand. Youth season this weekend so I'll be taking my boys hunting. As much as I want to kill this buck myself, I really hope one of my boys can get him. I'm obsessed with this buck!

Cool Video DD! Congrats for the buck Makenze!

Today was one of the toughest days of my life. If they have been covering the loss of Casey on your news you will want to watch it tonight! So impressed with the turn out. Being friends with most of the Pontiac Police Officers, Livingston County Sheriffs Department, and the Pontiac Fire Department it was a touching day. Our gym at the High School was STUFFED with law enforcement from all over! Even surrounding states! The first ones in the line were about 30-40 K-9 handlers with their dogs! It was so hard but Heaven has gained two great angels! Rest in Peace my friend you will be missed. Thank you to my team for letting me vent with you all. Thanks! DAWG

Going to go out this morning and try my luck. May you all have good luck in this time of RUT! With my heart still heavy I think I just need this peace time to let some feelings go with the lord and reflect on my time spent here with family and friends. May I take it out on a big monster.

Pretty quiet so far. Few does strolled by just out of my comfort range. Other then that there is lots of waterfowl, turkey's, and pheasants out and about.

just those does for this morning.. Had a good feel in the air with that frost on the ground, I was hoping for a little more action. Weather man is calling for pretty stiff winds this evening but I will be out doing my best.

I did not see one deer today but it was worth the time in the woods today to get some peace time.
