Always good putting an arrow through a coyote. I have shot plenty with a rifle but I would love to get one with the bow.

Bucks are starting to move good in my area. I had a cool sit last night. 8 does stepped into the bean field followed by a narrow but tall six. As soon as he got out near the does I could hear a buck just inside the tree line grunting like crazy at the six. Never got eyes on him but give it another week or two those bigger deer should start stepping out earlier! I am going to try and get out in the same stand this evening but I have plenty of homework to get done first.

Heading out in the morning, the wind looks like it will be blowing right where I want it to for the area I want to hunt. With any luck I will have a doe down before noon. :D

Well I got a few hours a sleep before I hit the woods. Got toned out earlier for a medical so I'm not going back to sleep now.

If you're going out today good luck and stay warm.

Didn't see damn thing! Public land can be rough at times. Had multiple groups of people walking trails and workers in the area about 150 yards from where I was set up. So I had no luck. Next time out with probably be Wednesday then next weekend.

Anyone else have a better morning in the stand?

I had one other hunter set up about 90 yards away from me, but I seen some deer in the distance. I found two scrapes and hung a set there. Gonna try to sneak in after work.

The wind is crazy here. It is up to gusts of 30 mph. I rather stay in and head out in the morning!

Wind was horrible here yesterday so didn't get out. Gonna sit a little on my field I think tonight. Did the other night and saw ten in the corner I decided not to sit last min... Only saw one where I did sit and some birds spooked it just before it got out of brush for me.

Siman have a question for you. Correct me if I am wrong. Were we able to count a second doe last year as points or no? I thought we were able to do that but I might be wrong.
