Our hunt club has had our lease for ten years now. We've had a hard time in the last few years getting mature bucks on the ground. Mostly because guys are getting lazy. I made this video the other day to inspire them to "Wake Up"

That's an awesome buck. Hoping to see something on the cams when I check again soon. Gonna get out on some public land with a buddy for a few hours just to try his spot with him soon and back to my land for afternoon. Saw they were out again last night by one stand so should be good for a sit. Hopefully will get to try some killzones. Got a pack of them been itching to see how they go. Maybe I'll have some pics later or some whining to do.

Thanks my bro. Its a big weight off my chest for sure. Gonna spend the rest of the fall hunting with my trail cameras and video camera, hopefully I can film my buddies putting some deer on the ground.

Thanks guys. I bought Adobe Production Premium CS6 a few months ago. Just wish I had more time to fool with it.

Do you have any problems with copyrights on the songs?

Not yet? The video is just for my hunt club and a few of my pals to see. If vimeo has a problem I’ll just delete it.

Awesome video Rob! How do you guys like your editing software? Is there anything you don't like about it? Things you love about it?

I'm getting ready to drop the hammer on an iMac and Final Cut Pro. My MacBook Pro doesn't really handle 1080 HD video very well. I'm just using iMovie right now on my MacBook. Thinking of Final Cut Pro because it's very similar to iMovie, just with more bell and whistles, and I need my learning curve to be as short as possible.

I've been getting music from Jewelbeat.com; 99 cent royalty free. There are some decent pieces there. I'm looking at Premiumbeat.com for the music for my show when it airs next year. The quality of music is so much better there but it's EXPENSIVE...$39.95 per track or you can buy all versions for $59.95. Where do you guys get music?

Here's the track I'm thinking of using for the intro to my show. It gets me pumped. It's the first one...Rise Of A Hero. The 60 second version is what I plan to use. Listen to it if you get a minute and let me know what you think.

That track should work pretty good Derek, pretty intense.

It’s hard for me to really judge Final Cut Pro when I have never used it. I think Adobe Premier Pro is or will be the industry standard. I know Campbell Cameras teaches it at their video editing class. That being said if imove is very close to final cut pro and you don’t have the extra time to learn CS6 you might want go with FCP. Although CS6 has a FCP interface as an option.

    Nice Thread Siman!

Here is a little 4 point I could of shot from my stand yesterday morning. I had him at 20 yards. From where he is at in front of my camera is 35 yards and he walked to within 20 then crossed river. He is just to small for now!

What are the specs on your macbook pro? I got one last year and its seems to be doing fine with the HD video.

Morning hunt was enjoyable, so I'll call it successful-ish. Drew on a doe at about 20 yards. It just stepped behind a tree as I got to full draw, except her head was past the other side to stare at me. Held at full draw for too long and twitched when she finally decided to step to what should have been an easy shot. On the plus side I believe my killzones will do some solid damage after seeing what it did to the tree just over her... Almost got a redemption shot, drew back on her as she investigated the arrow in the tree, and a second deer I hadn't seen snorted and they instantly bolted. Was enjoyable and interesting being on different grounds. Definitely will go there again one of these days. Heading out to my field in a little bit. Hoping they come out same as last night again.
