The Hunt Channel is only on Dish Network. Not sure when/if they will move over to Direct as well. The Hunt Channel uploads all the episodes to their YouTube page within a few days of it airing....usually the next day. I'll embed the episode here for the folks who don't have Dish.

If anyone is interested, I'm doing an online hunting show as well on my website, HUNTERSlink.com. It's called HUNTERSlinkTV and will be semi-live (kinda like Midwest Whitetail), but will be pretty raw video. It will consist of a very short intro, the hunting footage with very little music or b-roll and short "on-hunt" interviews, followed by short ending credits. So, if anyone here is interested, or if you know anyone that would be interested in videoing and broadcasting their hunts, let me know.

DD your show looks pretty good! I'll check out your online show also. I like the almost live aspect. You can save the produced stuff for TV.

Yesterday I hung a setup on my new 140 acre farm. Its on the downwind side of an old apple orchard/cattail swamp that funnels out to a creek bottom. On either side (400 yards apart or so) are large bean feilds. Ive never hunted this area before so its a completely new adventure for me. Its going to be cool to hunt deer other then the same ones ive been after for 8 years.

That is where I am at with that little 5 acre spot. It looks to be just a pass through funnel area but if deer move through there then I will have my chance. The videos that I posted with the old fence post in the picture is that little spot! So far with that nice 8 it is looking good.

There is a large network of heavily used trails running through there so hopefully the deer are moving in the daylight. I didnt have a trail cam to spare so its a mystery to me still...

Sounds like both are solid spots. Looking forward to how things go. I haven't got out much here cause it's been quiet when I've been watching and cameras have been close to nothing. Sat in new spot on back land this morning. Saw a doe on way in. That was it. Should be tons better next year with a little work and food plotting, and cutting others off from it.

    Thanks Turro!

I hope to get into a stand next week for the first time. I got my food plots planted Wednesday. Finally got a little rain so I could work up the ground. They should turn out good if we get the rain they're calling for this weekend. Hung a camera over a mock scrape on my home farm in MO. I hope to get a closer look at the new buck I have here. Maybe the 9-point will show up as well.

Good luck to everyone hunting this weekend!

Got out and shot my bow today and got my cameras ready for opening day. Only a few more things to do and I will be ready to go. I finished up my hunting arrows tonight. I will probably get out and make sure my BHs are on, I spun them all tonight and they are good there just need to shoot them out of my bow. :tu: Only a few more days now. Lets see if I can repeat last year and get a doe down opening morning.

Thanks Caleb, you better try and fall asleep now since you get to wake up and hunt in the morning. I know I would be able to sleep I would too excited.
