Had three does stroll by ten yards from the base of the tree. Strictly buck hunting this weekend though. I will be back at it tomorrow.

Just got my pc up and running. Anyways I got out this morning. had a big buck behind me at 15-20 yards. Way to early in the a.m. just saw a black blob and a rack in the moonlight. a doe and a couple fawns came in just after light and wouldn't stop looking by me, as that was happening had more deer pass behind me be I couldn't look to see what it was. I'm thinking there will be at least 50 point on the board tonight :) heres a couple better pics of the buck in the back yard PICT0046.jpg PICT0052.jpg PICT0064.jpg don't think I would shoot unless I got a real itchy trigger finger

Man that is disappointing. Pulled the cards and it was just does and a couple little bucks. Then I got yotes to which is not good. Once the velvet came off they changed their pattern. It's going to be a little harder now go put a buck on the ground since I don't really have time to go out and scout. Hopefully I have some success at school.

I went out 1.5 hrs ago to hang a stand for my buddy to film out of in a tree next to mine. Had a doe walk in and munch on the clover for a couple mins when I just finished hanging the stand. Went for a quick drive around and saw does all over around a few mile radius so I am just about to head out and get in the tree a little early. Hopefully the bucks decide to move early like the does are.

Oly that's a little disappointing but something will probably stroll by at 20 yards once the pre rut starts in!

Good luck with those bucks headstrong!

MN they usually start showing back up then. Last year I saw a few running around hopefully it will be better this year. The drought made a difference I think

Been nestled in now for awhile. Shooting light just rolled around. Feels like mid to late October this morning.. Hopefully the deer respond accordingly!

A little buck was hanging around for awhile and walked right under the stand. Fun to watch. He was munching on the small food plot.[IMG]

Plenty of deer wondering around this morning. Could have taken does every sit. Unfortunately no bucks worth shooting this weekend.

I was hunting in an area that is a one deer limit. So if I shot a doe I would have had to put my buck tag on her.

Well I had a busy day running around picking stuff up to take back to school but it was a pretty solid day considering I picked up my tags for the season :tu: Then I saw this on the way to the register so I decided to pick it up.

Like I said in a earlier post my card pull sucked for the most part but there was still some nice pictures. You guys can check it out Here
