Good luck. If you ever need help with anything like searching for a deer, just give me a call.

I would actually like if I could help you if you got one. I've only ever done one track job so I could use the practice.

Been raining here the last couple days. Should be good for my throw N grow plots. The neighbors plot looks REAL good right now. Still waiting for the deer to start using my corn feeders, they havnt touched them yet.

I will be filming my cousin this weekend while we try to get him his first deer. Due to an unfortunate event we wont be out until the evening sit. His buddy pulled back his bow when he was not watching and derailed the strings (no release) so my cousin just got his bow back luckily. We will be sighting it in during the morning hours and in a tree or blind for the evening depending on the rain that is in the forecast. I will keep you guys posted on how it goes..

I will have my new bow this week and will be heading up north next weekend. There has been lots of daytime activity up there. Saw multiple groups of bucks roaming around way late in the morning and way early in the evening. Lots of 120's walking around, but we where watching them from the road so the shooters are probably tucked back in there a bit.

What's up boys?? Sorry I can't chat a whole lot but I work like a fool before the season to give myself off the entire month of November. With bow stretching 16 days of November this year I am pretty excited to hopefully see some nice rut action. Last year I filled my tag on a Beauty in my own backyard so just watched the rut action with no tag..........no complaints either but wouldn't mind sitting there with a tag this year.

Just went to our place on Thursday and checked cams, trimmed lanes and checked out the food plots. Everything is looking good except the big boys (as usual) aren't dancing in front of our cams. 7,000 pictures in 3 weeks and a couple iffy shooters. This is common for us though as the big boys cruise our place more then set up home base there. Always has been that way.

No matter..........we will hunt them just as hard as always.

Some pics. If they are upside down blame Steve Jobs.

Knee high radish, turnip, sugar beet, rape mixture. Other stuff in there is chicory, clovers, buckwheat, sainfoin, and some oats to break things up. The pics are of our biggest (2 acre) plot in an L shape. We have 3 more 1 acre plots that all look the same as far as growth. We are pretty stoked because the deer are literally hammering these plots which makes us a central food hub in a place where it's good to be a hub :)

Here is a pic of the kind of bucks we are seeing on our cams. Nothing to sneeze at but there are some good bucks living in our area and we are aiming for something bigger then this fella.

    Good buck though.
