Got a new buck on camera...a pretty decent 8 point. He's the first one in this video. I've got pics of the second buck in velvet this summer.

    Decent 8 point

BTW...This video compares deer reactions to infrared vs black flash. I just got my first black flash camera not too long ago and unfortunately don't have much in the way of video footage with it yet, but, I can tell you I won't own another camera unless it's black flash.

Dang I just remembered I have to finish up a half dozen arrows. I got some work to do before the season. Need to order a new pack, camera arm mount, and some new broadheads and tags.

What do you guys still have to pick up or finish before the season starts up?

Now that I have time I got to hang some stands yet since I just got my property back for this year. Gonna be a busy week! Love the banner!

I'm pretty much as good as set. Had about 99% ready from bear hunting and figured out the few things I needed different and got them ready pretty quick. There's some things I could have ideally maybe messed with, but not gonna worry about pending how things go. Should have my two cameras back soon, I'm sure I'll get them up somewhere when they're here but I've been watching the deer daily so no use pushing a camera last few days to spook where I plan to kill. Got a few other ideas for them. Hoping first pics of shooters are me holding. Kind of a bittersweet feeling being so excited to get out knowing that if all things go great could possibly be done for the year in less than a week.

This buck has been alluding my cameras all summer long:

There is a chance that he is the second buck in these pics (Both 10 points, but the one above looks slightly bigger):

What do you guys think!? Same deer? Or different?

Hard to tell the brows look really similar but I think the one in the night picture is bigger than the 2nd buck below.

After looking again Im leaning towards the same deer. His main beams start to curve up and I can see that some in the first picture.

Think my hopes at a velvet Buck may have disappeared in the past day. Racks looked bare tonight. Just got to watch a few forks sparring while a shooter and a handful of does watched. Pretty sweet. Attempted a pic since haven't gotten trail cam pics to show
    uploadfromtaptalk1378861280437.jpg
Failed that too thank you flash/window. Plus side is I put my moultree cam possibly right at the mouth of the trail the shooter came out on, or maybe just on the other side of it, can't remember for sure, but might have some pics right in his face. Ill check Thursday and see.
