Yea. I accompany him sometimes for pheasant and rabbit, but not much for goose. Isaac wants to start filming duck/goose hunting this year so that would be cool.

Well I got one camera set up with video settings then it started pouring rain so I bailed out. I will get the picture camera set up here in the next week since I am back to double shifts starting Monday. My eyes keep seeing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I would bring my cameras for filming. Hopefully we can make this work.

On the bright side your scent will get washed away now. :tu:

Took today off for some family fun! 3-D shoot this morning, Labor Day parade with family this afternoon then a Fantasy football draft with Cousin, and then some drinks with best friends playing dice. What more can you ask for beside start of season?

Went dove hunting this morning. Birds weren't flying great but it was still fun. I always look forward to the dove opener as it kind of kicks off my hunting season. May go again tomorrow morning, but after that it'll be planting fall plots, hanging stands and bowhunting until the MO firearms season in mid-November.

Sat a trail this morning for bear opener. Can't make it into the stand for a morning hunt without spooking so thought I'd try where I got pics of them leaving the stand 90 yards away. I think after watching my videos from the card swap yesterday when I brought bait out I'm guessing they demolished the bait early last night so weren't hanging around long enough for this morning. Shooting for rebait heavy today and get out in stand for afternoon and if no luck gonna stay the night up there and hopefully they'll keep their routine and have last feeding for morning shooting time.
I forgot how great it feels to get up and out in dark and the beauty of the morning. Had a coyote making noise not too far away, passed a doe and a fork on the way out, too dark to be sure but one may have had coyote or raccoon in my shooting lane or something, squirrel hung out next to my foot for a while, just a great feeling I missed since last season besides a camping outing this summer. I could spend every morning doing that.

On my way back home after the holiday weekend. I put in al food plot about 6 hours before it rained. this morning as I pulled out of the drive I could see a bachelor group with for sure one maybe two shooters in the bunch (couldn't get a real good look at the second that looked like a decent one) they where hanging out about 100 yards from where I planted the plot. Once the acorns get eaten up the food sources in the area are super sparse so I am planning on putting in some time over that plot during the late season If I still have my MN tag.

Think things are looking good for tonight. On the bad side I don't know exacts because oddly enough my camera only had one video (of me checking it) when I ran out there to bait and check half hour ago... on the plus side there wasn't a spec of food left so they visited hard. The big one has been coming in earlier each night, almost to shooting time, and the medium one was there for shooting hours most nights in the past week. Gonna head out in an hour and get set. The big one should step it up a bit earlier now to beat the other to it, which would be perfect for me. Keeping fingers crossed he follows the script like he's supposed to. You guys will know on here shortly after a shot if there is one. Gonna try and save battery but will check back in.

Ill be strapped in solid, too much adrenaline to sleep, and maybe best to keep alert. Really hoping plan comes through but whatever happens it'll be a great hunt out

I haven't watched that video in years. Pretty rough filming and the edit was one of my first. I'm so glad i filmed it becauses that's the only thing I have of it since the hide went bad when my freezer broke.

No night in stand, happy how all went. Hopefully I'll throw a video together and see how it comes. Watched him for half hour and had a blast.

Who are the last couple that need to vote? We are still tied up (I think) so those votes are needed to get it finalized then we can get someone on making banner. Maybe Fitz? I know he is capable of that but not sure if he would be will to help out.

I might be one of them that needs to vote. I am back to 16 hour shifts again. I worked one yesterday on Big Holiday "Ching Ching" and have another today, tomorrow, and the next day. What are the two nominated names again Oly?
