One of my bear trail cams I moved yesterday to overlook a good used deer trail, so when I check in a few hours and rebait hopefully something from last night will have passed it. They were in the basic area. After letdown of other camera hopefully this one came through. If not, I've got a spot for it that will get something within a few days for sure

Not this year. I shot one in Ontario in 06. I have a pal with a cabin up there. We're talking about going next year. It's a lot of fun

That's a nice one. I'm getting pretty hooked into it too. I could do without the bees and hornets and stuff all over the bait pile. I got hit a few times this year and there's not much better of a way to take the manly feeling of hunting and feel like a little girl dancing around getting stung. Its been a blast checking cams and watching them and learning it all. Hoping to make it pretty regular. The guy I got my bait from said Canada bear hunting is a big step up from here too. He's been going for 20 or 30 years a few times a year. I'm hoping for a trip up for bear or moose within a few years. Hoping, we'll see how that goes.
Do you bait up there or dogs or hows that work in Canada? Its been interesting seeing how states all differ in what's right wrong or acceptable. I watched some spot and stalk on YouTube and DVDs, I think that would be awesome too if I could work on getting that graceful moving around

We bait. Not sure if you can use dogs in Canada. I actually got the kill on video. I did a half a$$ edit of it years ago. I'm the one that shoots the second bear:

That's a good problem to have! Watch best buy or whoever is a bigger electronic store in your area for sales on SD cards. You would be surprised at what percentage they sometimes discount 8, 16, and 32 GB cards for . I found 16 and 32 GB cards for over half off last year at best buy and stocked up. More for filming purposes, but a 16 or 32 GB card in a camera that is capable of taking such a card will handle lots of pictures!

Yes MN those sheds are from him. I found one single and then the match set. I then measured some antlers for a friend and he saw mine and asked if I found it myself. I told him yes and told him where. He then said hold on one second. He brought out the same side with the odd points and you could tell it was same deer but smaller version of it. He told me since I had the bigger one I could keep the other one. So I have two singles and one set plus trail cam pictures of him with the match set on his head. I then shot at him and missed after arrow clipped a limb a year later. The next year I shot him in December. I had a long history with that deer. Here is the another picture of him with the sheds.

That's a sweet video and kill. I'm going to use my gopro on my bow to try and get it and got my trailcam set for video that's right on the pile I'm Hoping to get a good view from. I think watching peoples videos and stuff has been awesome just having things recorded to remember it by and the different ways everyone presents it. My wife got me into taking a million pictures of everything but video is so much better. By next season I want to have a better camera for self filming or hoping to get a second stand set for her or someone to record.

Dawg that's an awesome display. Having history and that much to go with a trophy is sweet. I'm hoping to put things together like that in years ahead

I think we already have it narrowed down to two choices.

    Siman when do you start?

I was talking to Luke a little bit about maybe heading out that way for a late season hunt and just hang out maybe sometime in December or start of January.

We start September 28th and go through the first week of February.

And yea that would be cool. Late season deer hunting is pretty slow around here (and cold), but it would still be a good time.

Okay only a little before Illinois starts but you guys go way after us too. He said something about pheasant, rabbit, or maybe goose depending on when I come down.

Still got time to figure it all out though. :tu:
