i got some great news today. The one farm i hunt on 7 miles away from my house, has a confirmed monster roaming around the area i hunt. Let me explain monster in NW PA around 130 - 140. Rifle season is tuff on all the Deer around here. i swere that everyone has a license around here. Alot of hunting pressure during Rifle season.

I had purchased a ladder stand from the property Owner and as i was walking out the woods after setting it up, i ran into another part owner of the property. (3 Sisters and 2 Brothers own the Property) She had taken a picture of this buck in the field behind her house. A real Pretty Buck, looking forward to seeing him slinking through my stand. She also showed me a picture of another buck much smaller. maybe I'll let PT kill him.. Hmmmmmm MAYBE????????????????

GETTING MORE EXCITED IF THAT IS POSSIBLE:D

Sorry no pics (Not my Camera)

Just got back from the beach this weekend...ugh. Not feeling it this time of the year. All I kept thinking about was how I was in DE, hunting season was IN there, and I wasn't in the woods, lol.

Looks like some shooters for sure John!

I went up to my land in Oklahoma this past weekend to do a little bit more scouting and check my camera. Well there wasn't anything picture worthy on my camera. The same three hogs keep coming in (all under 100 pounds), a few doe, and a 6 point that would score about 25":(. But my uncle (his land) has been seeing 8 different really good bucks and a bunch of small ones! So thats some good news. We're still two weeks away from season down here:mad:

Yeah, go get em Nathan!! Good luck man!

I'll be out a couple of times this weekend around home then I'm on vacation Thursday and Friday to hunt my property in IL. I'm hoping I can find one of those bucks I got on trail cam in the daylight before they realize they are being hunted.

Got a planned hunt this tue the forecast is outstanding highs in the upper 60's and the low is 43! Should have every deer with a heartbeat up and moving, espically after this front pushes through monday. Looking to stock the freezer.

Got back Sun. from opening weekend and I saw one deer at about 200 yrds and I dont even know if it was a buck or a doe. Pretty slow weeekend we had about 6 people sitting in a about a sq. mile area so we had it covered. The people I was with saw some bucks but none were close enough for the shot.
They have been seeing deer there all summer and on opening weekend they see less deer than they have all summer. I guess the deer canged there patterens with all the activity going on. It should settle down in a couple of weeks and the hunting should get better. I will be going 2 or 3 more times so hopefully I can seal the deal on a deer this year.

Friday can't get here soon enough can it?!?! Season starts Oct 3rd. I'll be headed to my grandparents on opening morning to try and kill a doe. Then I'll be hunting around the house on my buddy's place the rest of the weekend. Look what he found early last week.............

I saw the buck in early November last year about 200 yard out. Hopefully he's bigger and I can get a shot. He's the deer I'm holding out for. We scored that one side, doubled it and gave him an 17 inch spread and it came out to 133", a damn good buck for around here

    Good luck guys!

I'm jealous! I won't be leaving camp here until Monday to head back to WI. Next Friday, the 9th, Johnny and I are heading to the lease in IL for a week. Then its back to WI where I'll be filming my bro in law in Buffalo County. Then, I'll do some hunting on the family land in WI.....hopefully I can catch up with Browser or one of his buddies! Who knows what the deal is after that.....I may have to come back to Canada for a bit, but if not, I'll be back in IL and WI for all of November.

    I'm getting itchy!!!!!
