last three years of bow hunting has produced one buck Last year............................................110 inches. i have killed a at least one doe for the last 5 years with the stick and string. i have a great spot for does and when the rut hits last year it produced but i have had some close calls the other years. The spot in ohio i'm going has a min score of P&Y of 125 so if dont score in Pa i should have a pretty good chance at one in Ohio.
I've only killed 2 bucks with a bow, both last year First scored in the 70's and the second scored 117"

You don't want to know my past kills. I've been really hunting hard the past two years (the previous 4 I got out only on a few Saturdays due to college). Last year I passed on several 1.5yr olds, and ALMOST sealed the deal on a nice 115-120" 8pt. I'll be hitting it hard this year again with a slightly different approach, but who knows. Don't count on me too much, lol.

When does everyone get to start hunting? I'm going on an Antelpoe hunt in WY over Labor Day Weekend and my deer hunting starts Sept. 15th in MO and Oct 1st in IL. I'll be on stand for both opening days!!:D
Bow season opens here September 19th, but I'll still have guests here and doubt I'll make it out until the following week. Then, I'll leave camp on October 4th and move Jill back home. From there, I'll be hunting WI, IL, back to Ontario and then back to WI and IL.
October 3rd here, and I will certainly be on stand. Hoping to log just as many hours as I did last season.
I guess it's about time we start thinking about a team name, and captain. Any ideas? I'm drawing blanks on something new.
season starts Oct 3rd, i will probably not be in stand then / my wedding Annv. i know wrong time of year to get married but i wasnt bowhunting then, oh well. maybe i can sneak out in the Am the first day i know i wont be in stand that first afternoon hunt!!!!!!!! spikes - sorry dont like it studs - dont think so either i dont have a idea yet capt - well jim IV or jimbuckhunter?
