Team 17 - Life At Full Draw

I've heard the eastern mountains of Tennessee can be tough hunting! Have you been there all your life?

 

So am I officially the captain, and I really like that Bow Hunt UNTIL We Die for a team name. If there's anyone else wanting captain or anyone with other possible team names, speak up now or forever hold your peace!

Cowboy, yes mountains are extremely tough hunting. I’ve killed the majority of my deer on private land farms that were nice. However, it’s extremely rewarding to take a public land deer.

A lot of our draw hunts have nice deer as well. I’m going to Oak Ridge three times this year for draw buntsz

Hi guys.
Shawn for captian is fine.
Team name, don't care.
I'm away from wifi quite a bit and it's been biting me in the a$$ lately. 80$ extra last month so I can't participate like I normally do.
Seeing where are team members are from, I think we can tell team 12 too Suck It!

 

I guess I'll cast the first vote for team name. Feel free to throw in other names if you wish. If I like another name better I cast my 2nd vote for it, or is it illegal to vote twice?
I'll go with Live At Full Draw.

One portion of the Navy Base that I hunt has a two-doe earn-a-buck requirement. Taking a mature doe can be rather difficult! Fortunately, there are younger does around, but the alpha does can still make hunting difficult. "Legal" bucks must score 130 gross. The other portion of the Base has no doe-first requirement, and legal bucks just need one antler with 3 pts. There are still some impressive bucks running around. The rut is always strong with the favorable buck-doe ratio, and I've had good success in past years with rattling and decoys.

Its not a good addition, and I like the ones Shawn posted better. But, I figure throwing out some names may jog an idea that could make a badass name

 

Little town that you’ve probably never heard of called Siler City (unless you we’re a big Andy Griffith fan). It’s middle of the state. What about you?

 

Yea NC is more of a quantity over quality state when it comes to deer (particularly on my properties it seems). That said you can definitely count me in for at least two does and maybe a 6-8 pointer if my cards line up… It’s a shame we can’t get bonus points for other critters though because NC does have some P&Y quality squirrels, possums, and black bears

 

Yeah, I know that jack wagon................He's my brother!!!! HAHAHAHA Headed out to Colorado with him in a few days. How do you know him? I don't recognize your last name but I'm terrible with that stuff.

 

Oops.. I think we’re supposed to say Bears of Color these days.

 

Shawn, I was thinking about this yesterday and then you had it in your message. The team name can be like a motto or something. Something simple like.........In Our Blood. That might be kind or corny but I was just spit balling the motto idea.

 

Oh and our season opens a week from this Saturday… It’s actually on 9/11 but IMHO shooting a deer on opening day of deer season is about as American as it gets so that’s exactly how I intend to honor those we lost.

Hot Damn! $80 for a month of data overages is downright criminal. For that kind of cash you ought to get one of those Elon musk satellite Internet dishes and bolt it onto your truck then tell them folks at the cell phone company to go screw themselves.

Is the live part of Live at Full Draw supposed to be live as in “live show” or is that live as in “live like there is no tomorrow”? If it’s the second one then I vote for that name. If it’s the first one then my vote is for Bowhunt UNTIL we die
