Heck yea! Few things are more effective at convincing an old buck to get up on his feet than having his bedding area invaded by an orange army that stinks of hangover, chewin' bacco, and jimmy dean biscuit farts.
Was really hoping to get out this weekend but ended up getting sick. If I am not feeling better by tomorrow I will probably go get tested...couldn't smell anything today. Next Saturday is our gun opener but we can bow hunt if we choose. Sent from my SM-N986U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Thanks...getting tested this afternoon...I have lost my taste and smell. It was almost exactly a year ago that I tested positive for Covid. Sent from my SM-N986U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Did you get the vaccine? Just curious. I work in healthcare and was just wondering. I've seen the numbers that are being put out there and I know the numbers I'm actually seeing. They say about 86% of covid cases right now are unvaccinated people, but I'm seeing about a 50/50 split.
Hey all, hope everyone is doing well! Hunting is slow here. I haven’t had a buck on camera in two weeks or seen one. A more serious note, wibow I hope you get over it soon. I have had Covid in February this year and been vaccinated. I hope I never get it again. It was awful. I’m 26 and no underlying conditions. Fish, you and your wife are in my prayers brother! My Kansas trip didn't see any arrows flying. The week before in Wisconsin was a game of not being in the right stand. I'm starting to feel I had and messed up the only opportunity I had back in September. Now I will pray for 9 days as the orange army has boots on the ground on Saturday. I'd like to get out one more time before then but being gone from work for two weeks leaves the desk stacked high when you get back. Looks like it's going to take late season for me to get it done but it is very possible. Just depends on what left after the bullets start flying.
That's a bummer but hopefully you had a good time down there. Good thing that you have some food for late season and a big swamp to the north to save some of the deer. Sent from my SM-N986U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I'm now chomping at the bit to get back to ,y cabin! I mostly post on live from the stand thread as I don't have much time each day for posting. Effed up on a real good one Sunday at noon and seen 3 dandies Monday morning. I hate to pass on 140 inch deer but this year I feel I must. Said 8n the beginning, although we are a "team", I'm not gonna shoot something to try and (win) Not yet anyway. Heck, I still have 2 doe tags but can't shoot them where I do the majority of my hunting. We'll be fine team. Fish, I hope things are getting better on your end. The power of prayer is strong stuff! Best of luck!
Today I feel like I have a little more energy. May try a get out and get some fresh air with a walk around my 5 acres with the dog. Goal is to be feeling well enough Friday to head North to grab my trail camera that someone stole the SD card out of and then hunt there since gun starts Saturday. I have three hunters coming in on a paid hunt this weekend, so looking forward to some good scouting reports. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting .com Forums
Anyone hunting this weekend? Seems like a pretty good weekend to kill some deer. Although the deer are probably in lockdown now. Good luck to everyone.
