Same thing here, lots of smaller bucks moving in daylight. I have two buck tags in Tennessee and just used my last little bit of deer meat. I will shoot a smaller 8 or doe if the opportunity arises. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm sitting for bear now. 2 hours left of the season. They have a heavy trail crossing the river 150 yards away.
I sat four times this weekend on various public and private land. Small bucks were moving mid morning which is a good sign for things to come. I had two chances at does that I hope I don't regret. A lot of deer were moving and I was waiting for the big one to show up. I didn't want to blow the entire place up. I'll be in the stand a lot over the next few weeks.
Looks like Wednesday going forward will be 50's and 40's for the highs. I will be taking off the first week of November strictly for hunting unless I fill my buck tag before then. Sent from my SM-N986U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Two bucks were fighting, never did come through. Something winded me about 100 yards away right at last light Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
As the crow flies this buck is 1.67 miles from where he has been all summer long Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He is so impressive on the hoof. Ill have to find a pic of him from last year. He flat blew up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great buck Josh! I don't put any stock in what picks I get over summer/early fall. Seen 2 many times that bucks can shift that far fast. I sure hope you can arrow that one. He looks fantastic!
Id love to stick that guy for sure. Summer ranges are deceiving because they go to where the best food is. Slaves to their stomachs. I got some more pics through the night. Based on camera locations he is headed back to where he came from. Maybe he will be back or he stopped around the last camera. Ive got an old 7 point that would wear him out if he got the chance.
