Mongo and Fish, don't forget to post your does on the scorecard. 2 pictures of you, your bow, and the doe. Plus you'll need the date and time of kill. You can also include type of bow, broadhead, and arrow as well.
Guys, it's been a hell of a 27 and 1/2 hours. Yesterday, up at 5am. Hit list buck comes to stand shortly after 7 am. Thought I made a good hit on him but later discovered it was just a flesh wound. Bitter disappointment then. Get back at it in the afternoon. In the stand a little before 5 pm. 5:30 to 6:00 o'clock I had 4 huge ass does in front of me, 2 year and a half old bucks, a button buck and 3 doe fawns. I was really considering taking out one of those does. But I told myself those shooters had been coming in every evening this week and I really wanted a buck to redeem myself from the morning hunt. Those deer finally all left about 6:00. All was quiet. Then, about 6:15, I just happened to look over my left shoulder and saw another deer coming my way. He cleared a tree and when I saw his rack I immediately knew it was Droptine. He turned and was walking straight at me, no shot. He got to about 5 yards and he stopped and looked up. He saw me but wasn't totally spooked. He did a few head bobs and was jerking his head around a bit. He then turned completely around and started walking directly away from me. Again, no shot. He got to about 20 yards and he quartered away from me slightly but he was still too steep. He then turned a little bit more and that's when I left him have it. He kicked and took off down over a slight hill so I couldn't see him anymore, but it didn't matter. All of a sudden I heard leaves rustling, branches snapping then I heard a thud and dead silence. I knew he went down inside of 50 yards. Right after I shot, there were 2 other deer behind him that I didn't see cause all my concentration was on him. They took off when I shot him and it was 2 of my other shooter bucks. It was a hell of an evening, a hell of a day for that matter. When I started looking for him it didn't take long at all. He was done for. Took the old dirt nap. My biggest buck to date and I started hunting deer when I was 13, I'm now 55. My only ever droptine buck. Man am I ever pumped. I'm seriously thinking he'll gross over 160. I put a tape on one of his bases and it was like 7.5 inches. Took care of the buck last night, got him on ice, then headed into work. Now I'm home, tired, and heading to bed! I'll get a tape on him this afternoon when I get up. Then I'll post him on the scorecard. Keep it up guys! Let's kick ass and win this contest. Everyone at least shoot a doe and if we get 4 or 5 more decent bucks, hopefully more than that we will be at or near the top! Good luck to everyone out there.

Congrats on all the deer down fellas!!!! I lost my phone in the woods last night so I couldn't check in!!!! Shawn, that's one hell of a 24 hours! I had an encounter with the wide one I've been posting. My phone buzzed and he bolted. Can't make this stuff up. Plus, it's on camera. Glad to see you guys had some luck. I sulked for a couple hours but I'm too dumb to stay mad for too long. Back at it tonight. Captain Shawn living up to his title!!!!!
So guys! Before I post it on the scoreboard. I'll let you all know first. My suspicions were correct. As I kept measuring though, I thought geesh, he may go 170". I got him at 166 5/8.
