Doe. Shot felt and looked really good. Definitely let the air out of both lungs but I am thinking I might’ve ruined the heart. Hopefully I got lucky and missed it because that’s my favorite cut of meat. Gonna give it another 10 minutes before I try and climb down. Forgot to put a flashlight in my pack so that’s going to be interesting. Going to run back to my car and get my headlamp before I do anything else since cellphone light sucks for trailing blood but more to come soon!

My plans for tomorrow. Get in the stand early and wait one of my shooters to show up. Once it hits 7:30 does will become fair game. Afternoon/evening sit I will get in the stand about 4:30 and wait til one of my shooters show up. No does on the evening hunt.
Out by myself tonight so sorry for the ****ty photography. I guess after spending the last 4 years worth of deer contests trying to use dirty socks and duck tape to prop my phone my phone up on my tailgate in order to take 2 photos of myself holding a deer and a bow I probably ought to just go ahead and invest in one of them selfie stick tools.

Id like to go back out in the morning but I just finished getting that doe gutted, skinned, and hung up in the cooler to age and I still haven’t eaten dinner so we’ll see how energetic I’m feeling around 5am tomorrow
Let's go guys! Opening day for a few of us! Woke up about 4, accidentally woke up the gf. Not very happy... but she's making breakfast! Let's kill something. Doe bucks squirrels coyotes and doves are on the menu today
