    Sounds like a great evening!

I'll be there, if you need help.

Yeah it was a fun evening to be out. I got in the stand about 3 and it was non-stop action.

When I get pics of my doe posted and tallied, we're certainly within striking distance. If Englishman happens to find his buck and we manage to score a few more points we should be sitting pretty.

    Good job guys!

Doe is posted in the score thread. I think I got all the needed info on there. I got her all cut off the bone and in the fridge so if those pics ain't good nough then I'll have to shoot another one.

Is it a trophy doe if you have watched her since March? I mean I have a "history" with the doe, and I am pretty much calling my shot, doe with the wire on her neck corner pocket no scratch.

    I'd say it qualifies.
I've always kind of been of the opinion that any deer with a stick and string is a trophy though.
Of course these new bow and arrows are about like shooting rifles anyway. It's hard to not be impressed with the lethality of modern equipment.

    Good luck Sota!

I consider shooting a doe like butchering chickens, but you know what the meat is much better than any you can buy. I do know this I have watched to doe and I am going to have to be ready drawn when she gets close, no way I can sneak a draw in when she is near me.

Lol, I will shoot does for a week straight vs dressing chickens.
Yeah they're sharp. The does I took one out of last evening, they came in from behind me tracking me on my in trail. I had evercalm on my boots or I'd never have gotten a shot at them. Even at that they kind of spooked and I had to wait for them to get out further before I could stand up in my ladder stand and turn around to get a shot. Fortunately my doe happened to stop with her head behind a tree and was completely blind to me moving around. Offered a nice shot though.

Well guys tonight I wash clothes prep my day pack and get ready for my 5 day straight hunt all day everyday until I drop my first set of antlers!! Not shooting anything less then 100” I was a semi decent buck for my first buck. Although it will be hard to pass up anything it is the rut and hopefully it has something to offer me. Catch me live in the stand tomorrow morning at 6:30 am

Well guys no real buck activity tonight on my sit but I did manage get 50 pts on board just before the end of the hunt. Unfortunately she had buttons but I'm still really happy with the result. Perfect shot out of the new bow. Dropped in sight.
