So this morning was a great morning for me seen 6 does come threw had an encounter with a large wounded 10 point. From about 150 yards. And then had a 8point come flying by me at full speed not sure if he seen me or someone bumped him but it was a good morning the rut has officially started !!!

Nice shane, 50 pts the hard way! Not that there is a easy way haha. I set a rut set today and scoped out another area suitable for my climber. It's about to get good, my favorite 3 weeks of the year.

Well I got my 2nd doe of the year yesterday. First self-filmed kill and longest kill for me with a bow at 37 yds. She made it about 80 yds before piling up. Not sure if the broadhead opened but the blood trail was still insane. Now that the freezer is almost full, just need some bucks to come by. Hopefully a big one finally steps out soon. Good luck out there guys!

Well gentlemen the scent free tent got set up yesterday, pulled the fence off the food plot, washed all the camo and base layers. It's on, I am headed out to turn on the heater and the ozone machine take a quick shower and will be up in a tree by 3 or so.

Temp with the windchill was 21 degrees. Watched the doe with the wire on her neck for 15 minutes or so, had a what would have been a 6 pointer with 1 side broken off and a small fork that had a bigger body than the 6. Nothing too exciting the big old ask tree was rocking, hope to get back out tomorrow or wednesday.

Will be in the stand in the morning... deer movement was crazy on the way to take the kids trick or treating. I'll have a pocket of candy on stand tomorrow lol.

Well it’s been a rough time in the stand, not seen a shooter (130+) and only a hand full of day pics. I am off work for 10 days starting Saturday and rifle season starts the following Saturday so I will be doing all day sits from the 5th until the 10th with the bow which should be peak rut. Then I will be rifle hunting after that for 10 days then back to the bow until January 15th or I kill a buck whichever comes first.

Thanks! I might have to upload it haha. I'm working on putting the videos together and making it all look neat. So then I can upload it. It's been tough with time because of work, school, and cross country. In Cross country, my next meet ends the season on November 12th, when I have Nationals in Iowa. Then I'll have more time to hunt during the week as well. Looking forward to the rest of this season. I will be out all this weekend starting Friday afternoon and all day sits on Saturday and Sunday are what I would like to do.
