Here is a topo of my lease. I'm thinking that there is a saddle on the south side of the property. Has anyone ever set up on something like this?

I setup on a saddle on public land last year but it was later in the season. It looked like a promising setup for the bucks to cruise but by then the land had been pressured by other hunters. I think it is a good way to go though.

Well I have good news and bad news. The good is after spending about 3hrs scouting and moving stands I found my no1 buck bedding/core area and it’s on my property. I found in excess of 30 fresh rubs and a few scrapes all within about 2ac.

Now the bad, Hunting his area is going to be hard. This map shows the area in blue, the black is trees that were cleared about 2 years ago, the yellow is where I seen him run yesterday and the red is where I set up a stand and camera. In his area it’s all thick saplings with Diameters no bigger then my upper arm. The closest trees are in the main woods. I guess we will see if I get him on camera next week and go from there.

Well... Saw about 25 deer last night. Most I've seen in one sit in a while. Somehow every deer was either a doe, yearling, or button buck! And of course, the button buck walks rights underneath me and all the does stay 60 yds or more away. Can't wait till the rut gets in full swing. Looking to take at least one doe off the property this yr, there's so many.

Had a woman fly in from Connecticut to threaten us after having blocked several phone numbers. Long story short, her stay was relocated from the Hyatt to a less prestigious county hotel! She didn't love her shiny bracelets but that's not my problem.

OK fine lol. So basically, about a week ago, this number starts texting and calling my dad wanting contacts for these people who happen to be extremely wealthy. My dad continued to block each new number that she came up with. She went through several. Her Husband then proceeded to text my dad yesterday that he should be warned and to look over his shoulder because she is not happy that he blocked her. Well, this crazy broad turns out to be my dads brothers (my uncle's) ex girlfriend from like 25 years ago. Now its important to note that this chick is certifiably nuts. She has 5 current orders of protection against her and shes been to jail a number of times. Fast forward to yesterday. I get a phone call from my uncle saying watch out, gabby is in town and shes pissed. She flew into Chicago from Connecticut to threaten us. So literally an hour and a half later, I get all camo-ed up, get my bow and my pack, and I'm headed out the door. Well then my dogs start barking. I went back upstairs to check it out, only to hear this banging and thrashing and a voice talking. Well, I look outside and here is this woman talking to herself, screaming, banging my door furiously, and carrying on. So I'm home alone, and after a few seconds of "what the hell" I realize that its gabby. So I said can I help you, and she began a slew of verbal attacks and just crazy talk. I asked her to get off my porch at least 20 times. She continued to scream and bang and yell "let me in" and all this crazy s@#$. So I set my bow down and whip out my phone. I then started to take pictures of her, which proved to be a juvenile move, as it exacerbated the situation immensely. She then lost it and started threatening with a number of things, and literally body-slamming the door. She threw herself into my front door like 7 times. Well she went back to her car, stayed in there for 5 minutes and then came back. In the mean time, I was on the phone with the police. She came back and I said "hey gabby, I have officer Gordon on the phone and there are two squad cars in route". I expected her to take off, but nope she told me to stick the cops up my ass. So at the end of the day, she missed her flight back home, landed a nights stay in the dog house after back-talking the officers for a while, earned her 6th restraining order, and got her hideous picture taken by a smug little d-bag (me).

Edit: Now I love a good story, but this was one experience where absolutely no exaggeration or story telling skills were needed. It was incredible in its own right.

Lol, thanks for sharing, that was worth the threat of making a voodoo doll, lol.

So, did Jabba-The-S.lut finally decide to get the #!&^ out of dodge or is she still in the clink?
